Nice place, nice price

The rooms were great. They were clean, modern, and had nice amenities. The view of the pool & Ocean were awesome as well as being close to everything we wanted to do. They even have a nice breakfast area in the mornings with almost everything you can think of as a complimentary benefit.

Tolle Lage, aber kein Best Western Standart.

Wir hatten 2 Zimmer für 5 Nächte mit großem Frühstück gebucht. Die Buchung war unkompliziert der Betrag direkt bezahlt und beim Check-in wurde der Betrag für das Parken auch gleich bezahlt. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und wir hatten einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Die Zimmer sind sauber und mit Kühlschrank, TV, Mikrowelle, Fön usw. gut ausgestattet. Das Bad ist klein und der Duschvorhang war in beiden Zimmer leider schon sehr verbraucht und der Wasserdruck der Duschen sehr schwach. Bei einem Zimmer ging eine Seite des Stroms nicht. Dies wurde erst nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung an der Rezeption am dritten Tag behoben. Auch konnten wir den Safe nicht nutzen, obwohl wir zweimal an der Rezeption bescheid gesagt haben. Dort wurde uns gesagt, dass jemand kommt und den Safe öffnet aber leider kam niemand. Ich hab das nachfragen an der Rezeption dann aufgegeben. Das traurigste am Aufenthalt war jedoch das Frühstück. An keinem Tag war das angebliche "große Frühstück" komplett. Abwechselnd fehlten der Orangensaft, die Cornflakes, die Pancakes, der Joghurt, Obst usw. Nachdem mich die Servicekraft sehr unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen hat, dass sie alleine ist und ich mich an die Managerin wenden soll, habe ich dies gemacht. Die Managerin sagte, dass es Lieferschwierigkeiten gab und daher einige Dinge fehlten. Bezahlt haben wir für ein komplettes Frühstück, bekommen nur ein unvollständiges Frühstück.....schade. Ich glaube nicht, dass das der Standart von Best Western ist.

Will never stay here again.!!!!!

I stayed at this hotel for the Fourth of July. I had a room with a kitchen that has zero counter space – no silverware except two butter knives there were only 2 cups two bowls and two spatulas one frying pan and one pot not stocked very well at all, the kitchen sink and bathtub was constantly backed up, which they gave us a plunger, which did not work. The water pressure in the shower will not rinse the shampoo out of your hair. we had to pay eight dollars per day for parking which wasn’t so bad but we had a second vehicle and we had to park three blocks away at $25 per day which I got stuck paying $75 for three days😡 The number one thing that pissed me off and everyone else I spoke to there is that they lock the pool gate between nine and 10 o’clock at night (even on the Fourth of July) so if you’re on the beach at night, you will be locked out and there is no other way to get back into the hotel. We had to walk three blocks up for a beach access road to get back to the hotel – THAT’S RIDICULOUS!!!!! I have stayed at many hotels on Daytona and this has never happened. I will not come back to this hotel. The only positive thing that this hotel has is a great breakfast. They have many options.

Do NOT stay here

Were driving for 17 hrs and needed a nice, comfortable bed, clean room and got the opposite. I was so nervous and anxious, was just crying, not sure what to do and it was midnight, I had to go. The only reason I chose this obe because I stayed in another obe in Virginia and it was totally the opposite, and the staff was very friendly. Here was the opposite

Really good

We stayed here and four nights and really enjoyed our stay. The first day one elevator was down but fixed on Monday. The elevators were small and stuffy when it was hot outside but I understand how much of a pain it would be to make them bigger. We chose not use cleaning service but everyone we met was really nice. Great location and free breakfast. Parking was different but also good. We would stay here again p.s got to see a rocket launch from our balcony

An enjoyable stay

We had a pleasant stay for one night, and we truly appreciated the beautiful oceanfront balcony that offered stunning views of the sunrise and the ocean. The staff were incredibly friendly to assist us, when we needed. It was also lovely to have the pier and boardwalk within walking distance, adding to our enjoyment. Although the complimentary breakfast was nice, we felt it could use a bit more variety. Overall, we would recommend this hotel for at least a night, as it provided a comforting and enjoyable getaway.

Floor/Carpet is filthy. Gave us black feet. Bed has brown spots on the bed cover. Service for extra towels, front desk said they would have some for us , just throw outside the door what has been used. 2hrs later, we had to hunt someone down cleaning the rooms. They were never notified about the need for towels. Parking is horrible. Blocking people in and front desk acting like they were not going to do anything unless you knew you were about to leave for sure. Beds are uncomfortable. Owner needs to buy better mattresses. Those cheap beds can hurt someone's back. Elevator broke. Glad you had an extra. Breakfast, scrambled eggs were sitting in water. Almost like a badly made egg soup. The rest was fine. As a former hotel manager, these come easy for me to see. I want the best for this place. Just this little bit of updates can go a long way.
