The only thing good was the front desk clerk, Correen. What a charming girl, very helpful, hospitable, and comforting. She said if we, needed anything to call and she would bring it to us. U shpuld make her the manager, she knows how to deal with people. Now for the bad, there was a big clump of hair in the sheets. Mold and hair in the shower,

Walkers paradise and nice hotel!

Really exceptional. Breakfast excellent with green and red chile and fluffy scrambled eggs not over salted. Great coffee suprisingly. Nice breakfast space. The room was so nice. Good water pressure in shower. Nice view across the river to other side. The location is a bit farther from downtown but it was quiet and there is an exquisite walking and biking trail along the river right there! We walked north along river trail the first evening and south aling the same trail the next day. So massively peaceful and stunning views of river and river banks. Next time we're bringing our bikes!

Nice hotel but not enough staff

We enjoyed our stay but had to sign something up front that we understood that if we needed our beds made or any maid service, we would have to call the front desk because the receptionist had to leave the desk to go do the service. There was only one maid for the whole place. The receptionist worked a double and on the morning the breakfast worker was off, she had to do that as well. It was a disaster. They ran out of coffee, waffle mix, etc. The pool man only works Wednesday-Friday so I don't how clean the poop and spa were. Bed was comfortable and public areas are nice. They just don't have enough staff.

Easy Parking and Nearby Access to Animas River

Really nice place to stay while visiting Durango. Not a lot to do right around the hotel unfortunately, but the river walk is really close. If you’re looking to be able to walk to restaurants or shopping, you probably want to be more in downtown. The hotel is nice though. Quiet and very dog friendly. Lots of places to walk around the property or join up to the walking trails along the Animas River. Staff is very nice and continental breakfast was good.

Looks nice on the outside.

Sticker in bathroom says room service but the front desk said it’s a joke. If you need towels you go to the front desk. They tell you to leave towels and trash in the hall. Free breakfast but not enough for all. Every day no forks. Pool was dirty.
