Arrived early, we weren't expecting to check in but reception staff quite unhelpful, we had parked our car in the hotel car park but were told we only had 15 minutes to pay for parking and to do it straight away. We hadn't realised we had to pay for parking being patrons of the hotel, when i mentioned this i was told that i clearly hadn't read the extra information on the booking site.
The room was supposed to be deluxe ,we had no fridge in the room and no air conditioning, the room was red hot, we opened the windows but no air was circulated. We had floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the car park. Anyone getting in there car could see in. We were on the second floor.
There was also a lift that only went to the 1st floor. We had to go up in the lift to the first floor walk half way round the building to find the stairs then go up another 2 flights of stairs, further along the corridor and up a short flight of stairs to our room. No offer of assistant for luggage.
We arrived for breakfast at 8.30 on the first morning to find nothing left on fruit buffet. When asked if we could have more fruit we were informed that there was non left. Although they had a resturant style area they did not have meals other than breakfast.
No names were offered and service very poor. Only saving grace was lication of hotel
