Functional enough for a quick stay. Surprised they did not inform us that there would be no daily servicing of the room. Don't need the sheets everyday but having the bed made, trash emptied and dropping off shampoo is expected unless informed otherwise.

There was a nice looking patio area outside the pool house, but the fire pits were not working. When we walked in, the room smelled very damp. Thankfully, it was very cool at night, so we slept with the windows open. The location was a short drive to the nearest grocery store, the village of Rockport with its cute shops and Gloucester.

First impressions upon checking were excellent as the hotel reception had been refurbished to a stylish and contemporary feel, so we were optimistic about our stay…however, upon entering our room there was a smell of some kind and the pillows were really old and lumpy (well past their purpose) also the pillowcases were yellow and old looking, so not appealing at all. The hotel did change them for new ones but overall the room was old and in need of updating in line with the reception. At £250 for one night not good.

Wedding Weekend

I enjoyed my stay at the Rockport Inn and Suites. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was professional and friendly especially the shuttle driver who took us to the wedding venue.

Outdated hotel with the basics in a great town

We arrived late after driving through a big storm. It was unseasonably cold and while we had heat in room hard to sleep with hot air - maybe an extra blanket would help. Clean enough room with some modern updates . Very outdated facility overall though - some furnishings included. Breakfast not bad. Ideally this and most other places would consider offering fewer packaged processed plastic wrapped food options or at least reusable coffee mugs but I’m sure cleaning and food waste would be hard. Staff was minimally cordial several times acknowledging us only when we asked questions

The kid that checked us in had no customer service plus the room they gave us at first smells like dog and second room the fire alarm was hanging down and the cable didn’t have many channels then we went to the pool and near the bathroom there was black mold the worst place we ever stayed at 0 stars

Don’t go!

Would never return or recommend. Booked a deluxe King but received standard king. I was being charged for the deluxe though. When I returned to the front desk to get this corrected I was told it was hotels.com’s mistake and they couldn’t do anything about it. Totally unhelpful (not a busy time as I was the only person there). I returned later to speak to a manager and at first she repeated what I had been told originally, also unwilling to correct the price. I persisted and finally got the room I had booked. 3 nights, no new towels, soap, shampoo or turn down service. I asked for milk at breakfast and was told they never have it. Sink clogged every time we ran the water. No one seemed overall that friendly as far as the staff goes. Lots of places to stay in that area that were nicer, so sorry I stayed there.
