The staff was friendly at check in and checkout. The room was nice, but there was toothpaste in the sink and the alarm clock kept making a weird noise so I had to unplug it. Continental breakfast was better than most hotels. All in all, my husband and I would stay again!

The front desk staff and room attendants were exceptional, to say the least. They were so accommodating, friendly, and efficient. Every encounter held with the employees was memorable. The dissatisfaction only comes from the property maintenance which has less to do with the employees, in my opinion, and more to do with the owners. The property is close to being deplorable. The elevator was inoperable, the “advertised” pool on the website is not usable, and the decor for the rooms seem to be ordered from the famous Temu. The pool had dark green water and trash floating in it. The maintenance for the entire hotel needs real work from third party companies who specialize in renovations. The stairwell situation is also a small issue. To access the stairwell on the right side of the building, you have to walk outside by the disgusting pool to get back inside to get to the second floor. The same stairwell I’m describing also has a leak from the ceiling. This property could be a gem in such a small area. It’s practically the only option. Instead of the owners treating it as a getaway for travelers/workers/patrons, it seems the thought process is, “Well this is the only option so take it or leave it.” The only memo I have is you catch more flies with honey.

The room furniture (pull out/ottom & chair) were dirty/stained but able to pry from the sticky substance that had it stuck to the wall. Pushed away and didn’t use. The tub/shower was mildewed with cracked peeling wall, water was brown even though I read a sign that said it was “sanitary”. One outlet worked aside from the TV, had to call the front desk using my cell. Tv remote fell apart. Towels were stained (brought my own) Bed was ok for comfort (I brought my own cleaning products) all 3 pillows flattened to one decent pillow. Breakfast was frozen eggos, yogurt left on the counter, no milk, apple juice smelled like a fart. Staff was super friendly and attentive despite the conditions they work in. I HIGHLY ADVISE pay more for a better place

Pool closed... only reason i booked this time.... and the oool was closed. I have no complaints about this place i stay here every time I come to see my daughter and grands. But hey they could have said something about the pool 1st. Dayva is amazing... rooms are clean. Breakfast is ok. Hot at least.

The property was old with few amenities. The mattress slid off of the box spring when we sat on it. The water was brown coming from the bathroom faucets and toilet. The breakfast was ok. The coffee was fresh and hot. There was a decent selection. The woman making breakfast was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean but the concierge wasn’t much help with a couple of issues we had in the room. However, they weren’t life and death issues, so we managed to work it out. There’s a Walmart right next door, which is very convenient since you always need something, and several eating places within driving distance. The continental breakfast was decent.

The water quality was horrible to look at yellow like pee. They say it’s us the norm for Winnfield, LA. Would not drink it but they say it is safe. There were coffee grounds still in the coffee maker. It looked like they just did not pay attention to details like throwing the new garbage bags in the cans for the guest to put in themselves before using. The beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average. Room did seem clean not bad.staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
