Accommodating staff

This may be mixture of the site's issue and communication in general but I was surprised to find after booking a pet friendly room that my two cats could cost me up to 500 as only dogs are allowed at this location. While I am grateful for the staff's willingness to accommodate me and inform me of potential charges, the state of the room was also quite bad. I realize pet friendly rooms tend to be a little less well maintained but the carpet had a spot that was torn up and there were food stains on the carpet in multiple spots. This was a stop in longer drive so I was just looking for a safe and clean place to sleep. I would not recommend this location to a pet parents.

Avoid this place and the unpleasant staff

I’ve stayed at this location several times before, was a decent place to stay but theyhave some new staff that are very unpleasant to deal with, you better not make a mistake by accidentally booking the wrong week like I did or they’ll treat you like you’re the scum of the land. I mistakenly selected on hotels.com Wednesday the 12th instead of the 19th and I had no idea I made a mistake until the hotel charged my card the evening of the 12th so I called the hotel immediately and the man that answered the phone was quite rude and refused to help so I called the next morning and spoke to the office manager named Katherine and explained my situation and first she told me the man from the night before was new and has already received multiple complaints prior to this incident, she offered to either refund me or told me I could use those funds for type night I needed (wed 19th) so today I call to make sure everything is good and the msn that answered the phone that you could barely understand with a heavy Indian accent told me Katherine wasn’t there and he wasn’t going to do anything for me they I missed my reservation last week and that I would have to pay again if I wanted to stay there m. Greed is obvious at this location and have no sympathy or care for an innocent mistake, the owner of this location appears to rather lose repeat business than make things right for a one off mistake.

My stay at this hotel was not the greatest.......we checked in late so we really didn't get to do much that night. We had a bowling tournament in Albany and came right to the hotel after....... This is where we saw the lack of accomodations.... The ice machine didn't work two of the vending machines didn't work......we decided to enjoy the hot tub didn't notice any towels in the area....when we asked for towels they said they didn't have any extras....... Like for real? We couldn't get any ...we had to use our room towels which in turn meant we didn't have any towels for showering...... Not good...... Place was clean room was good.... Just poor management and accomodations.

I wouldn’t stay here again. No housekeeping unless you ask. I did ask 3 days in a row and never got it until day 4. Very over priced for what you get. No one speaks English very well. Only accommodating when it’s easy for the staff. I left a pair a shoes not willing to mail back and very rude when you call and talk to them. Or even talk to them in person. The over charge for having a dog is uncalled for. And the free breakfast is not even breakfast. I would rather stay in my truck than stay there. Do t stay

Do not recommend

If I could give zero stars, I would. We booked this hotel specifically because it was listed as “pet-friendly” on hotels.com, and we reserved a pet room. But when we arrived, we were told all the pet rooms were already booked, and they claimed the hotels.com listing “isn’t accurate.” The breakfast was an absolute joke—cold, stale biscuits, and gravy that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The juice machine was broken, and all the vending machines were out of order. It was like they’d given up on basic maintenance. On top of all that, no one was ever at the front desk. We had to call the hotel from our cell phones to get ahold of anyone and to get extra blankets and towels. Bottom line: Don’t stay here unless it’s your absolute last option.

It is well kept could use some updates but it is the best in the area. Great staff willing to do whatever you need. Was able to have my dog with me and they were super nice to him. However, the breakfast could use some work. I was able to also have a “mini” kitchen in my room as I was in an extended stay situation. With the inclusion of a fridge and microwave. Super accessible to where I needed to be.
