The staff were great but the accommodations were pretty terrible. The halls smelled heavy of cigarettes and the room had a strong musty smell. The heater in the room was not adjustable. When the temp got to 80 we had to crack open the patio door to cool off the room. The tv ran on WiFi but was not strong enough to watch a show. I don’t think we will stay again.

The staff were all friendly. My omelet was very good but with one chef, 2 burners and a line, it was a long wait. The room was fairly clean but updates are needed. For example, our towel bar was broken.

Excellent stay. Jacuzzi tub in the room was amazing. Facility interior was beautiful and clean and the staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was amazing. Everything we ordered at the restaurant/bar was excellent, both the food and drinks. Would love to stay there again.

Friendly and attentive staff, comfortable beds, good enough for the basics. Yes, its a little outdated if that bothers you but we weren't there to just stay around the hotel and room. Beautiful view outside of Sturgeon Bay and close to the shopping areas.

Property is definitely in need of dire update; especially for the $300/night l. General feel is stale and worn. We were moved to a new room after discovering tub was completely rusty and appeared stained. To the credit of management, we were given a free night and suite upgrade. Although clearly expensive to undertake, we believe there was much potential given the location and big crowds in the area.

there were small insects in the room. Cobwebs and other indicators including dust indicating that the cleaning process was not good . The refrigerator was frosted over and inoperable. I complained to the front desk and they did send a maintenance person who replaced the refrigerator, but we were inconvenienced and had to wait while he came to take the refrigerator. We were also inconvenienced because we had to wait until he picked it up the next day. Just a bad experience.

Horrible smells upon arrival and wouldn’t refund us even when we said we didn’t mind paying the first day, but wanted a refund for next two. The drive into the hotel was a concrete driveway that was all torn up and I thought would damage my car if I drove it multiple times. The sign to the property was slashed and upon entering the hotel it wasn’t maintained nicely. Visible mold in lobby bathroom. Awful smells in lobby. Drip down the outside the front of the hotel. We said we would pay for that day but wanted our money back for the other days. We didn’t feel safe staying there. Both the hotel owners and Expedia gave us the run around and wouldn’t refund.
