Very nice hotel stay in Hallettsville, TX. The outside of hotel has several patio areas with western rustic swinging benches perfect for relaxing watching the sun go down drinking a cold beverage. The rear patio area has a couple of BBQ pits to grill your favorite food. There are several restaurants walking distance from hotel.

Very clean rooms and bathrooms, amazing shower, extremely helpful and responsive staff on any needs, my only suggestions would be update coffee to be better (look at Fairfield inn coffee and get ideas) and update the bedding style of comforter. Beds were comfortable, great Cable channel choices and great Texas Charm. Go to the Kountry Bakery- and coffee house in Shiner Texas. We also loved Mexican food on the square and see the courthouse

Considering the limited choices in this area we have stayed at this hotel several times. This is a safe choice. However - due you diligence and check the sheets or you may share the night with the hairs of the previous guest. Honestly this situation is not uniqure to this property - however - it is still cringe worthy. Look before you leap.....peek before you sleep.

The night/morning clerk was rude and unprofessional. The room had not been cleaned properly. When I told the clerk he said I accepted it because I didn't come tell him. I checked in around 10pm and left to go buy water. I had not seen the room until closer to midnight so I just went right to bed and let the clerk know in the morning. Take the clerks advice and stay somewhere else. "you didn't have to stay here, there's 4 other places."

We had a bad experience down road for 1/2 the price. So we decided to change. For the price and reviews I expected an excellent place. But no. Hotel clean, but has overwhelming smell of spices and curry. Mattress was the hardest mattress I have ever slept on. We Stayed one night. I would not go back until spice smell removed and mattresses upgraded.

Had to move rooms 3 times. First room poop in shower on wall and bathroom floor sticky like glue. Smelled awful. 2nd room bed was broke and big blood bandaid on the floor. 3rd room had black hair everywhere, crumbs and dirt. Checked out early.
