Awesome over night stay! Will definitely come back! Beach access was perfect and clean. Pool was nice as well, I’d say it was a mature crowd for our stay, only saw a handful of kids! Very safe for ladies needing a getaway with group or single! I was with my 2 kids and husband a quick stay! There are social hours with happy hour cocktails and a really nice wine selection. Its awesome!!!! We will return!!! Pizza was so GOOD!!!!!

Our room was clean and we had a nice view of the gulf. Other than the noise from the dinging of the elevator, we enjoyed our stay. The beach access was nice but awkward to have to walk through the restaurant in the evenings. The pizza place by the pool was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is easy.

We loved our stay here. Our room was very comfortable, very clean and in excellent condition. Our room was cleaned daily and we appreciated that very much. The restaurant was very good, service fast. The pool was on the way to the beach and both a short walk. Our room had a beautiful view of the beach and gulf.

The only glitch was that in the morning I ordered a breakfast burrito and had to wait for almost half an hour for it to be ready. That service could have been faster

We stayed at this facility for the last 4-5 years. We bring my granddaughter each year after the school ends. The facility was great. My only complaint is that there were many visitors at the pool that were not hotel guest. At lease 10 spanish speaking children were in the pool the last day until around 6 PM. They were all around 14 - 17 years of age with no visible adult present. They all got into a Chev. Black Tahoe typy vehicle when leaving. I and my family tried to use the restroom several times but it was either locked or someone inside. If you have to request a key to get in their should be a note on the door. Grandaughter and spouse didn't feel confortable getting in pool . Sorry but may go somewhere else next year.

Property is Not beach front, ice maker on our floor didn’t work, had maintenance in our room twice working on the A/C. Can’t believe this hotel was ever rated a 9, maybe a 7 at best. I would suggest you find an alternative hotel.

Our room overlooked the water, great view. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The AC seemed to have a time keeping the room cool, especially noticed it overnight. One thing that bothered me, was the college age kids using the pool that went registered guests. When I said something at the front desk they didn’t seem too concerned with them.

Check in was quick and easy! The front desk manager was welcoming and very friendly. Room was clean and cleaned throughly everyday. Lots of space and updated rooms. Beds and pillows comfortable and soft. Parking was below the hotel and a good amount of spaces for overnight parking.

The Sundrift is centrally located to points of interest in Fort Walton Beach and you can’t beat the parking or direct beach access from the hotel lobby. Check in was quick and reception was friendly. The room itself was lovely, there was some wear and tear which is to be expected from a property, nothing major, no big deal. The room was very clean. The lobby has a snack shop (pricey but that’s expected I feel like), there’s a breakfast bar starting at 7 with quick bites like cereal, burritos, and muffins as well as an upscale Italian restaurant for dinner. I did think it was a little funny when the hostess asked us if we had a reservation for a completely empty restaurant but she and the wait staff were absolutely lovely. At about 10am there are blue Sunset Inc. chairs and umbrellas on the beach for rent from a vendor right at the beach access which was great! Take your phone with CashApp to get some ice cream as it rolls by on carts throughout the day!! When we had enough of the waves we hopped back on the beach walk to the hotel, took a quick shower at the station outside the pool deck, and grabbed some pizza from the Beach Pizza spot by the pool. FANTASTIC pizza, frozen drinks, beer on tap, and a pool with a bench inside perfect for lounging. My only real complaint is the jittery, grinding of the left elevator trying to get to the 3rd floor, spooked me every time, but won’t stop me from visiting again.
