Breakfast goes until 10:00 a.m. At 9:00 a.m., the only food left was bread. The fitness center does not have any equipment that actually works. Things were broken in the room. Not worth staying here.

Hôtel vétuste qui manque réellement d'entretien. Petit déjeuner correspondant plus à une cantine qu'à un hôtel qui semblait côté ! Mauvaise surprise lors du règlement de la taxe de séjour il m'a été réclamé un surplus de 4969 XOF correspondant soit disant à la TVA ! L'hôtel m'indique que ce ne serait pas de leur fait mais d'EXPEDIA qui réserve les nuitées. Qui croire dans cette affaire si ce n'est de la part soit d'EXPEDIA soit de FLEUR DE LYS une certaine volonté de tromper le client en facturant plus ! En synthèse fuir le site Hotels.com qui prend ses clients pour des pigeons en ne précisant pas toutes les modalités et en émettant des reçus qui ne correspondent pas à la réalité des choses. La DCGRF et mon conseil se chargeront de ces points dès mon retour.

The hotel Fleur De Lys Plateau is conveniently located in a neighborhood that feels safe and has easy access to the port and other sites of Dakar. The room was comfortable though a bit small. We enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast which was included in the room price ($100/night). The staff was professional, helpful and friendly.

For a hotel, supposedly "de luxe", i was disapointed. Its safe with security, breakfast is decent. But my bed sheets had stains. Water from shower leaking out and staying on the ground...making stains on the tiles, and keeping the room humid. Nice place to stay for a night in downtown Dakar. The staff is very friendly/helpful, the room was clean an the bathroom updated. We asked for extra pillows and a towel and they were delivered promptly. The breakfast buffet on the 11th floor gave a beautiful view of the city, but the food could've been better. It was ok, but some hot dishes were not replenished (eggs, sausage) and others looked soggy and overcooked. Otherwise, it's a good place to stay!

Staff was fantastic. Our bathroom flooded because the drain clogged and some of the lights didnt work. The bed wasnt comfortable but it was right in town and a GREAT location.
