Upon arrival, there was no one at the desk to check us in. Several minutes later, Bruce came out of the back room extremely flustered. I requested a pool view room and he proceeded to tell us "you'll be lucky to even get a room". He continued to gripe and complain about how the previous shift left a mess for him to clean up and how stressed he was about it. Certainly did not leave us feeling welcomed. The room was clean and the cleaning staff was so kind and accommodating. Breakfast was decent. The lady who maintained the breakfast station did a great job and made sure we had whatever it was we needed. The pool deck needs to be maintained. There were weeds growing through the deck and my ankles were ravished by ants. The location of the hotel is great, as we were close to several restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Not a far drive to Wesley Chapel or Tampa.
