Incredible location in a wonderful village. The pub is fantastic with good food and friendly staff. The rooms are cosy and very fitting of the location. Comfortable bed, good shower, great toiletries. AC was very effective during the heatwave and we only needed it on for short bursts. Breakfast was fantastic.

Excellent one night stay at the Hope and Anchor. Lovely room, well presented and clean with a view out to sea. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had evening meal and breakfast which was also very good. Easy parking in the pay and display car park next to the pub. Would definitely recommend.

A gem of a pub and hotel in Hope Cove

Most enjoyable stay at the Hope & Anchor. The location is amazing, beautiful views of the beach and the coast, lovely balcony to enjoy a meal and a drink overlooking the sea. Nice and comfortable rooms, delicious food, most friendly staff.

Staff lovely. Breakfast good -although took a long time. Great decor. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Good smart TV. Great location. Not a good night's sleep either night. Sea view over some industrial bins and a corrugated roof that gulls sit on making a load of noise. Industrial bin very loudly emptied at 7am one morning. Window faulty so you could hear all noise outside.
