The Positives:
1. The receptionist—especially the woman working the night shift—was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She’s the main reason I gave the hotel 3 stars instead of 2.
2. Our room had a nice sea view, although half of it was obscured by trees since we were on the first floor.
3. The reception desk stays open until 23:00, which was a big plus since we arrived late at night. Not all hotels in Lefkada offer late check-in.
4. Breakfast was decent overall. While there wasn’t much variety, the quality was acceptable and consistent.
5. Daily room cleaning was provided (though there were some issues—see below).
The Drawbacks:
1. The room was small and very basic. It had an old office-style fridge, no proper table, and no coffee cups—though there was an electric kettle (and an espresso machine with small espresso cups!). The closet was small with no drawers or shelves. The bed and mattress were old and uncomfortable.
2. The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable. Cable TV only worked occasionally, and the only English channel available was BBC.
3. Room maintenance was a major issue. The toilet seat was loose and fell off during our stay. The toilet brush was rusty, the soap holder was barely attached to the wall, and several lights and sockets didn’t work. Towels and sheets were worn out and clearly overdue for replacement.
4. Housekeeping lacked proper supervision. Items were often left uncleaned, and one day they even forgot to lock our room door—fortunately, nothing was stolen.
