Room is very compact. Parking is at a space across and away from the inn so not recommended if you have alot of luggage. Service is great, very friendly and their full Scottish breakfast was delicious.

A great country inn. Exactly what I was looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was treated to a local Scottish folk song jam session in the bar since I landed there on their regular meeting night. Very welcoming crowd. Great fun! It’s a country inn, not a hotel, but it’s perfect accommodations if you’re traveling by car. Close to Stirling Castle, Wallace monument and other sites of interest.

2/10 Poor

Luckily we only stayed one night. The hotel is great if you like mold in the bathroom and beds that are much too small and saggy. It's also a great place for those who like unfriendly service and being treated like a military drill sergeant. Hospital-like meal times and a similar quality. Not even recommended for a hotel when just passing through!

4/10 Fair

The B&B is located about two miles off the WHW but Drymen is a lovely village to stop off and refuel/ buy supplies so it makes sense to stop over for the night. Food and drink at the Drymen Inn were great as was the afternoon bar staff upon my arrival. Pint of Tennents is a fiver which is very reasonable in terms of other stops on the trail. The burger took 25 minutes but was worth the wait even though it was too much to eat, it was supposed to have haggis on it but couldn’t see or taste any. Evening, the bar became slightly busier with locals and noisier upon returning to my room where it sounded like I was above the kitchen with banging, dishwasher, music and chatter. The room itself was practical and value for money although the window handle wouldn’t close and either did the shower door. A bit tacky with headboard lights that don’t work, faux antler chandelier and looks a bit dated with an oversized wardrobe. A bin in the room (not the bathroom) would’ve been helpful but no biggy. Again noise was the main issue with a group of guys arriving late on and they were in and out their room, talking loudly and banging doors throughout the night until one of the other residents came out shouting and swearing at them around 5am! By that point I’d given up on a decent nights sleep and got a couple of hours before making a hasty exit. Prior to booking I saw the breakfast price was £28! Maybe that was a hotels.com price but I nipped across the road to the shop for a roll, a hot ch

2/10 Poor

Very poor service. Arrived at 22.30 to be told they had given our room away and we had nowhere to stay.. tried to blame us for being late however checkin time is stated as 15:00-23:30. When I showed them the email they then changed stories to the staff having missed the booking. The guy dealing with it at first promised a room in another hotel and a bottle of champagne as it was the first night or our honeymoon and their fault. The lady took over and got us a room in a cheaper hotel but no apology or champagne?? On the bright side we loved the hotel we ended up staying in. The winnock hotel across the road from the drymen inn.. highly recommend staying at the Winnock hotel!

Drymen Inn was a comfortable little place to visit, with friendly staff and a range of food options for breakfast. Unfortunately they ran out of hot water so we had to use another room's bathroom to take a shower, both at night and the next morning. Otherwise the stay was pleasant.

Great spot for the night!

This was a cute little place for an overnight stay on our trek through Scotland. The room is quite small but its perfect for just a night or two. The bar downstairs was great and seemed to be the local watering hole. We had a few beers the night we checked in and there are comfortable sofas near a fireplace that we enjoyed. Everyone was super nice and very accommodating. When you arrive, notify the bartender that you would like to check-in haha. We thought that was a bit odd but made for a good laugh. Price was great especially since it included breakfast which was quite good.
