This is a great retreat; I've been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. The staff are welcoming and very accommodating, the rooms are great, and the location is very safe and convenient.

We stayed in a self catering flat away from the actual lodge. We had to drive there for breakfasts and other meals. The place obviously had not been used recently and was very dusty. No tea/coffee available, despite this been asked for. The wifi had not been paid and therefore would not connect. The location is great and there is good potential provided a little care is taken to ensure all is working before the guest arrives

Best place by far

Amazing place, the owner and her staff know the definition of customer care. I booked a regular room but upon arrival the they were birthday celebrations for the owner's dad. She felt it was an inconvenience for us and decided to upgrade us to an executive studio...only Angels do that and thank you so much ! I always enjoy Sunninghill guest lodge and will always stay here.

I loved everything about this location. It is a little secluded so there is nothing within walking distance but everything else about it was super fantastic! They do offer some transportation and uber comes there and was very affordable.

Cramped room, bad service, would not go again.

Uncomfortable bed, sloping roof over head end ; sloping roof over toilet seat , one had to flex one's neck sideways to relieve oneself.( Room No 14 ) No staff to attend on Saturday morning for breakfast.
