Not well kept

We waited for a good 5 minutes before getting checked into the room. The walls and floors in the room were dirty. The beds were not comfortable and the shower head made a loud squealing noise when the hot water was running. The pool was freezing cold and looked like it has not been cleaned or had regular maintenance down. The hot tub was dirty and Luke warm. The breakfast consisted of stale cereal frosted flakes or fruit loops, breads, bagels, and some bite sizes muffins. I ended my stay early and he would not give me a refund for the night I did not stay.

There was no one at the front desk for a long time. The place smelled like fish sticks and onions. The pool is very outdated chipping paint and the Jacuzzi was a little sketchy. We were hesitant to eat the breakfast as it didn't seem very cleanly. It's an odd hotel but okay in a pinch.

This property is not ready for guests. The pool and hot tub were not kept up on the pool area is falling apart. We got in the water then got right back out. They had old durtiture and AC units stacked in the pool areas using it gor storage. We entered the eoom and it was cleaned but the white blsnkeys on our beds were fill of little orange stains everywhere. The hotel also had like what seemed like a bunch of guests of a different country living in the hotel. It seemed very scary movie and illegal like, my kids were very uncomfortable along with myself. We were not checked in a whole hour befor i decided it was time to go. They only refunded me half and even tried arguing with me on that trying to make me responsible for the expedia commission. Eventually they did give me half and we left. Highly highly recommend not staying in this hotel. The tvs are very small and dont match the size of the rooms. The AC/ heater units are very outdated the whe units itself was outdted very bad. It felt like we were is a 90s horror movine. My daughter even made a comment on how badly we were stared at by theses permanent guests that were just sitting around the lobby of the hotel. If you have children do not got here!

Terrible. First credit card machine was down asked me to pay in cash so had to walk down the street to atm.. then had to pay $60 for pet stay which was suppose to be refunded if no damage.. how you going to do that when I paid in cash..

There was no one at the desk but they came quickly when we buzzed. There were long black hairs under the covers of the bed and my daughter had a flea crawling on her after spending a few mins laying on it. We are blond and have no pets. Breakfast was a few dry slices of bread, bagels or stale cereal. Would not recommend - only slightly better than sleeping in a van down by the river.

Overnight near Brainerd

Hotel was clean & being updated. Sadly, the room painting job was very sloppy and dripped on many surfaces. That detracted from the other improvements.
