Holly’s place was so cute and quirky and welcoming! The shared communal kitchen and “family room” seem like a great place to cook a meal, play a board game, and mingle with other guests. The room itself was simple and clean and the mini kitchen was sufficient to prepare small meals. Kind and friendly staff. The location was great — very central to South Lake Tahoe but far enough from the main road that it was quiet at night. We’ll be back!!

Our stay was great! We were in the larger cabin and have no complaints. There’s a mirror in every bedroom along with fans to help with temperature. We had issues with getting into the cabin at first, and when we called they were quick to get it remedied. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Location!

The Wolf Den studio worked well for us and we were impressed, though our terriers weren’t with us, at the accommodations for dogs. Holly’s Place is a nice quiet venue tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of S Lake Tahoe tourist. It was within walking distance to the Lake which was convenient. It was a lovely stay.

Holly's place is a great get-away. We were there at the end of September for 7 nights in the Tisher Cabin. The bed was very comfortable and big screen TV was great. The TV is connected to a Roku player so you can watch streaming shows. The bathroom and shower were on the small size. I'm 5' 10" tall and 190 Lbs so it was tight in the shower stall. No big deal since we did not spend a lot of time in there : ) The staff was very friendly and was concerned that everything was OK. It is a very quite area and you do feel like your at a campground. Having a gas fire pit was great and there are things to do for adults and kids on the property. The common area room is really well stocked with kitchen utensils. Waffle makers, toaster oven, blender, a full size stove and fridge etc. The sitting area had very comfortable couches and chairs and a large screen TV. There are a lot of really fine restaurants close by and it's a 7 minute drive to Heavenly Village. It's a 10 minute walk to Lake Tahoe and a 13 minute walk to El Dorado Beach. We will definitely return if in that area.

Great hidden gem in SLT

Hidden gem in SLT. You can tell this place is well maintained and loved. Dog friendly and made you feel like you were in a rustic cabin in the woods instead of steps from all things SLT. My wife, me, and the dog felt extremely comfortable and had plenty of space to roam around between the fire pit, rec room, and ample ground for the dog to explore! Would come back in a heartbeat.

Peaceful get away

We stayed two nights at Holly's Place. The grounds were lovely. Our room was comfortable. It felt like we were camping. We were able to interact with the other guests in the common areas, which included a kitchen/rec room and we had a campfire our last night there. It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We were able to cook our own food. We would highly recommend this hotel

Close to the Lake & Dog friendly

Overall great stay, would stay again. We rented the main cabin Tall Pines, it is the owners cabin which gave it a very homie feel. We loved that the dogs were welcome to play off leash on the gated property. The cabin is only 2 short blocks to the Lake. The only time that employees are on the property is to check you in and check you out, otherwise the place is pretty much help yourself to anything in the large rec room (we didn't mind this at all) We also made friends with the other guest and their fur babies. Only issues I had is I made the mistake of only booking for 3 people to stay in the 6 person cabin, upon checking in the manager Lynn wanted to charge me for my daughters friend that came with us - a last minute decision ( so book the maximum amount of people just in case you might have an extra person tagging along), also on Expedia it states that housekeeping is $20 and for the large cabin it is $75. The only other issue was the power went out in the master bedroom at 2 am and the space heater was much needed in 7 degree weather after a quick phone call we were able to find a the breaker and restore power.
