This is a great little hotel nestled off the beaten path. Very scenic, homey and comfortable. Outdoor chairs and tables and hot tub. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the views - can even see Mt Rushmore lit up at night from the balcony. Great breakfast every morning, friendly and attentive staff. Will come back.

Fantastic hotel! A beautiful property in Keystone, near everything. Comfortable room, with balcony. Breakfast was great. Has a bar and restaurant. Would definitely recommend and would stay again anytime I’m visiting the Black Hills!

Excellent choice. Had ADA room as requested. Very convenient location and parking. Greeted with fresh cookies. Almost missed breakfast but staff at front desk made sure we were able to make it. They even started pancake maker for us before we walked in. Breakfast was great!

The morning/afternoon staff was amazing especially Alex and Shalimar! At first our room was underwhelming however they let us upgrade and we had a room with view and balcony and that was great. The evening woman did not acknowledge us, even when saying good evening. The breakfast was wonderful however the pub closes at 8pm so we could not experience the full experience of dining Room was nice and bed was comfy! We would recommend however make sure you get room with view!

Check in was very good. I had asked for an upper floor room because the last time I was there we had a ground level room that had a family of stompers and jumpers. The rooms are like being on the opposite side of a base drum. Well they gave me a ground level with the outcome. The air conditioner did not work well. The TV only had one channel that played SouthPark only. The vent I. The bathroom did not work well so it was also very humid in the room. Plus it was dirty. We stayed out late every night and did not get down the breakfast until about 9:15am and everything was very picked over. The last day we didn’t even try. We just went to a restaurant off site instead. Over the years we have stayed here many times. But the last few years it really is slipping. It does have a nice location to Keystone and some nice views so there still is that. Just a bummer from what I remember.
