smelly, cheap and close to the beach
Our standard double room had a pretty weird smell upon entering but subsided once we were in the room for awhile. The sheets and duvet covers were damp when we checked in during the evening, so perhaps the odor is a damp wet towel sort of smell. We had to swat away mosquitos most of the evening. AC wasn't working but fan was on full blast. Sound carried throughout the hotel and the pounding of construction nearby started pretty early. The beach is within walking distance, under 10 minutes. There were no signs of Don/Doan, the manager whom everybody highly raved about in reviews. I'm wondering if this place changed owners. Staff was fine. Word of caution: rats come out at night on the streets in the neighborhood, probably due to all the construction.

어마어마하게 저렴한 가격.
다낭에 새벽도착이라 잠깐 잠만 자고 나올 곳으로 적당함.
깨끗하지 않으나, 그렇다고 더러운 것도 아님.
직원들 영어 매우 못함. 그러나, 아주 친절했음.
바가지 씌우려는 택시기사와 대신 싸워줌 ㅋㅋㅋ
큰 티비가 있고, 한국방송이 나왔으나 바로 잠듬.

개미가 있어요 ㅋㅋㅋ 베트남엔 개미가 많은듯^^;;;;
그냥 신경안쓰실 수 있으면 저렴한가격에 괜찮은 숙소인듯합니다.

Nice Affordable Hotel close to the beach
Good hotel for the price... Clean room with AC and a hot shower.
Nice hotel staff were friendly and did what they could to assist us. They rented us bicycles, which we then returned after figuring out we would prefer the motorbikes. They arranged the rental for that too ($6 USD/day).
The room we had was an inside room. There are sliding windows that go into the hallway; check to see if they're locked. Ours wasn't and it opens your entire room to the hallway.
Tip: Try the ladies Pho Bo (or whatever she's cooking in her pot) next door.

I felt at home here.
Really the best place I stayed during my time in Vietnam. Doan, the manager, spoke good English & was on hand to help out with advice & guidance. The rest of the staff were excellent & as helpful as they could be. I'm not a fussy person & don't need much but this hotel exceeded my expectations for the price we paid. Cali is in a developing area of Danang & it's been open for 3 years so everything feels new & tidy. The first room I had was huge, spotlessly clean & comfortable, we then changed to a smaller room shared, which again was excellent size. There isn't complimentary water but you can buy it for the price you'd pay on the street so no problem. Plenty of interesting food stalls nearby, massage next door, beach within easy walking distance, Lady Buddha a cycle ride away. When I go back to Danang I'll be staying at Cali.

Nära till stranden
Vi bodde här under två nätter när vi besökte Da Nang. Hotellet ligger nära till stranden, ca 5 minuters promenad, men en bit iväg från själva centrum. Tog ca 10-15 minuter att gå till supermarket och restauranger ("Sofia restaurant" rekommenderas). Rummet var stort och rymligt och hade eget badrum samt minibar. Vi hyrde moped av hotellet en dag för att titta mer på stan. Kan inte direkt klaga på något, vi var nöjda :)
