Parfait.

Hôtel parfait. Il s’agit de bungalows privatifs, auxquels on accède par des chemins pavés depuis la réception de l’hôtel, dans un décor de jungle. Les bungalows sont propres, grands, avec une petite terrasse devant pour profiter du décor. Il y a de grandes fenêtres avec moustiquaires pour profiter de la jungle depuis l’intérieur. Nous avions salle de bain privative, magnifique, avec douche et baignoire et grandes ouvertures sur la jungle. Le bâtiment principal se compose de la réception de l’hôtel, avec de nombreux salons, d’une salle de cinéma/billard/ baby-foot, du restaurant et d’un bar. Nous avons adoré le séjour, les singes et les coatis traversent devant nous, dans l’enceinte de l’hôtel. La nuit, nous entendions les singes hurleurs. Parfait pour une immersion en pleine jungle en toute sécurité. Le restaurant est ouvert de 6h (ou 6h30) à 22h, ce qui permet d’être très flexible avec l’organisation de la journée. Le service y est de qualité, nous n’attendions pas les plats, et c’était bon. Il faisait très chaud, nous étions bien contents de pouvoir profiter de la piscine (beaucoup d’ombres, des transats et des parasols) après la visite des ruines. La visite du parc débute à 2min à pied de l’hôtel. Recommandé à 100%.

Accès direct à Tikal

Le point fort de l’hôtel est sa localisation! A quelques mètres de l’entrée du site de Tikal, il est très simple de s’y rendre même tôt le matin. Quelques bémols : Chambres assez mal isolées. Accueil froid. Rapport qualité/prix assez moyen.

It’s a very convenient and Eco place but the rooms were too hot. Needs air conditioning or bigger fans. The bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and so was the service. The pool was a nice addition for after the jungle adventures, although it could use some cleaning.

Su ubicación dentro de la selva es espectacular. La atención del personal es de excelencia. El restautante buenísimo. Todo increible pero Recomendaría que avisaran que no hay internet en las habitaciones y que a las 11 de la noche las dejan sin luz. Es un inconveniente ir al baño a oscuras

Tuvimos una gran experiencia en Tikal. El Jungle Lodge es excelente. Una crítica que haría es que con el costo de la habitación, podrían poner una máquina de café en la habitación. No parece ser una inversión mayor para una esencial necesidad de mucha gente.

Absolutely wonderful! The staff was excellent, helpful, the food was delicious. The bungalow was everything we wished it to be, clean and right in the jungle with birds and monkeys singing nearby. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, pointed out so many animals and was able to answer all of our questions. It was amazing!!

I contact the hotel before I made the reservation and they say only the suites has AC . I reserve the junior suite but when I get there they say not all the suites has AC only the Master suites , I need to pay $180 more for the stay . This is very disapointing. I show the Front desk all the chats buy they say they can’t do anything about it .

The hotel doesn’t have air conditioning when they should have it’s in Tikal super hot the swimming pool was out of service and at 10/11 in the night all lights go off so good luck nooo not happy with the service

The room and hotel location were wonderful. However, communication to organize transport to the hotel was terrible (the driver was 30 min late because the hotel failed to tell him I was coming from another hotel and not flying in and the driver told me he could have picked me up at my other hotel, which the hotel had said was not possible). The hotel also offered a group sunset tour that would have started 1h before my arrival to the hotel (which they knew since they were organizing the transport). Their private tours of Tikal are also double the price of what I eventually organized on my own... The food at the restaurant was the worst I've had in the country - the tostones were more like plantain chips but so thick I couldn't bite into them and the pasta was beyond over-cooked and the "spicy" sauce had no flavor. It's a shame because the hotel itself is ideally located (3min walk from the ticket control and entrance to the ruins), the rooms are very comfortable and the front desk staff was very friendly. There is no AC but the ceiling fans works very well and even during hours without electricity, the ceiling light and plugs work so I could charge my devices and still had light.

I loved how the property is located inside the park and steps away from the main entrance. It was so convenient staying here. Everything was clean and as expected. The only con I have is that the restaurant that is connected to the jungle lodge in mine and my family’s opinion was not the best. We found the food across from the main entrance, near the visitor center to be better and more reasonably price. Aside from this, everything was great. I definitely would stay again.
