This is a review for room #5. The private bathroom is across the hall is clean but a bit inconvenient but clean and spacious. Great stay over for hikers. If you’re allergic to dust bring your own dust cloth. The bed was very comfortable. The window air conditioner was a bit noisy and prohibited opening the window for fresh air. The patio and fish pond are excellent. Great place to enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Nice sized lounge area provides games and DVDS for your room which comes with DVD player. There are also lots of tables and piano in the lounge area. Conveniently located between a small variety of restaurants. Quiet and charming Victorian style facility.

We stayed at their Salal Cabin which is brand new & sits back in the woods. It is so adorable & comfortable. It has a fantastic heater system that keeps you the ideal temperature. The furnishings are so lovely. The reception staff was so kind & even provided us breakfast for the next day since there are no food establishments close by. The property is so beautiful with a pond & seating area to relax & enjoy the ducks & fish jumping. We will absolutely be returning. It is so close to Mt. Rainier entrance; we got into the park in minutes.

Quaint 1920s place to stay with a Vintage feel. While some updates to the place could be made, it is perfectly functional and an excellent location to the Nysqually entrance of Rainier national Park. Chris was exceptionally helpful, friendly knowledgeable and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!
