Ok voor een nachtje

De informatie met betrekking tot aankomst en check in was uitstekend. De bereikbaarheid is erg goed. De kamer is toe aan een grondige opknapbeurt. Het schilderwerk, de tegels en de houten delen (kozijnen en kastje in de badkamer) zijn echt niet zo goed meer. Verder is de kamer erg gehorig en is er weinig waterdruk in de badkamer en de temperatuur van het water is niet constant. Het bed daarentegen was uitstekend en de airco werkte goed. Het ontbijt is erg beperkt (croissant OF muffin en een kop koffie), de tweede kop koffie moest zelfs betaald worden. Een ok verblijf voor een nachtje maar daar blijft het bij.

B&B ligt aan een gezellig plein met restaurants en terrasjes, slechts 1 straat verwijderd van de boulevard. Je krijgt vooraf duidelijke instrukties hoe je de B&B kan bereiken. Het ligt in een oud pand maar je kamer is ruim en netjes. Heeft nog een oude douchecabine met hele hoge instap. Bedden zijn ruim, kussens zijn hard en dik. Airco werkt perfect.

Noisy Stay

The room is above a pizzeria and as is the custom, the locals stay until after midnight each night and are having a jolly good time. Had trouble going to sleep. Also, wanted to stream a TV show but could not locate the WI-FI account. Reached out to owner and he told me to turn my device off then on and try again-absolutely no help. We ended up trying to turn in but didn’t get to sleep until the party in the square broke up.

This B&B was just right for what we needed—a one-night stay before catching our cruise the next morning. The location was very convenient and made travel easy. One unique touch was the old-fashioned key and lock, which was a fun little detail! The room had everything we needed, so no complaints there. Just a heads-up—it’s a communal space, so if others are in the shared area, you’ll likely hear some movement in the morning. A couple of things to note: there’s no elevator, so be prepared for two flights of stairs. Also, if you’re arriving at night, the entrance is poorly lit—having a flashlight ready is a good idea!

I think the management should send the information through WhatsApp or email before check-in. I met other guest waiting at the door and if I wasn't there they would have had issues getting in. The place was charming, but needs some adjustments. The bathroom was down the hall from my room, which was inconvenient. The towels are not soft, and shower trickles water, because shower nozzle needs to be replaced. It was enough for a short stay.

Pros;stayed here for 4 days before the cruise. Location is amazing if you are cruising out of the port. The train station is nearby and we took it to visit Rome. They provide you vouchers for breakfast with three options on where to redeem. This is not a fancy place but it is a bargain for what you pay. We had the mimosa room. Few cons: door lock and keys are old school and may be hard at first to figure out. We had a bit of a problem and we also assisted a couple across the hall . The staff forgot one day of breakfast vouchers, I let them know the next day. Will book again as we really enjoyed our stay .

Instructions given for check in are very clear, property easy to find, room we stayed in was very clean with spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed and the voucher for breakfast at the cafe was very nice. Easy to walk to the port!
