We needed it just for a place to sleep as we were out all day exploring. The price was good, the conditions were adequate, there is a large park right next door and shopping is almost as close.

This motel appears to be recently updated. It is not fancy but is a good option for the area. We were in a room away from the road & was very quiet. I would consider staying here again if I were in the area

We were evacuated from home due to the Okanagan fires and this was the only hotel I could get anywhere near us. We didn’t get there until close to 1 am. The lady was very kind and helpful. The room had all we needed for the night until we could make a plan. Rooms are old and dated but had everything that we needed.

It’s close to the highway so lots of road noise. Stay in the upper suites because if you’re in the bottom suites, you’ll hear footsteps of whoever is above you. Kids were running around early in the morning and kept me awake. Same for early evening. Otherwise it was clean and very comfortable. Having a Full kitchen was a bonus.

The exterior of this motel has been redone and looks lovely. The bed was comfortable enough. The fridge was useful. Aside from those features, this hotel was a disappointment. Our room had no seating aside from two wood chairs. The chain lock had been removed from the door. There was a big hole where an oven used to be. There was black mold on the bathroom walls. The light fixture in the bathroom was broken and resting on the medicine cabinet. Beds weren’t made from one day to the next. The towels are thin and very small. There is no Kleenex or paper towel provided. The cupboards have water damage. The phone is plugged in to a wall jack and then the cord goes into the closet where the phone sits on a high shelf. The musty smell and people constantly sitting just outside our room in the resin chairs smoking (beside the hot water tank that was stored there too), added to the ambiance. This accommodation wins as being the sketchiest I’ve ever stayed at. I now know that 2.5 stars is not for me.
