Really amazing hotel. Convenient to town center and train station and local shops. Staff is super super nice, room was great, nothing to complain about. If I were in Fukui again I would stay here without a doubt.

Staffs are so nice, and you can keep your lugguage up to 2 hours after check out for free. But location isn’t good enough. Convenience stores and reustaurants kinda far away from here.

Old school system - you gotta insert the card key into a slot to activate the lights and AC. Only one card was provided for 2 people in the room. When my son was sleeping, I couldn't take a walk outside as it would stop the AC if I take the key with me.

The hotel is tired . It is possibly 30 years old (?) judging from the curtains. No parking at the hotel itself but you can park in any of the 3 city carparks which are close and receive a discount when presenting your ticket at reception. This is our 8th Japanese hotel in 6 weeks and by far the worst. The room smelled of cigarettes ( asked for no smoking) bathroom is old and had black mould on tiles. Overall it was a 2 star. .at most

朝食に地元の料理があるのがよかった。が、ポップにあった地元料理が、当日中はなかったのが残念。なければポップは下げる等した方がよいかも。 部屋のテレビのリモコンボタンの反応が悪かった。何回押しても、強く押しても電源がオンにならず、チャンネルもかえづらかった。 2点改善余地があるかと。 でも次回も宿泊したいと思えるホテルでした。
