Vores ophold var helt igennem fantastisk! Rengøringen var i top, personalet var imødekommende og hentede os endda på havnen ved ankomst. Vi fik leveret morgenmad hver dag og der manglede ikke noget. Vi er yderst tilfredse!

Communications with the host was excellent, the ferry ride over was on schedule, smooth and clean, upon arrival the host met us at the wharf and brought us to the property, about a 8 min walk along the main port and up a gradual incline.we rented the two bedroom apartment with a beautiful courtyard yard and were completely pleased with the property, it offered a complete kitchen, living space and the host had bottled water in the fridge and fresh bread delivered each morning. I cant say enough about Hydra and is people, it offered a little of everything and delivered it with grace and beauty. I can see where Lenard Cohen got some of his insperation, I would highly recommend the location and accommodations.

We had a lovely stay at Chromata Hydra – it’s a really cute place, tucked slightly away from the port. The location is ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet still close enough to easily walk everywhere on the island. We had originally booked a room for three people via Hotels.com, but it turned out to be quite small. However, Yannis and his mother went out of their way to sort this for us, arranging an extra bed and making sure we were comfortable. They were genuinely attentive and clearly cared about giving us a great experience. The place itself was very clean and thoughtfully arranged. We especially appreciated the fridge stocked with breakfast items, and the fresh bread hung on our door each morning – such a charming touch. Overall, we’d absolutely recommend staying here. A wonderful, welcoming spot on Hydra.

We stayed in this apartment 2 years ago and were so pleased it was available for this stay. Great location in quiet area. We loved the large room and full kitchen. Fresh warm bread is delivered every morning for breakfast. Lovely!

The place was really comfortable, clean and well located. Few minutes from the port, where the action is, but far enough for some peace and quiet. You also have few markets near the apartment. The owners made us feel welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed. They would bring fresh bread from a local bakery every morning. A grreat place to stay when visiting this island.

We feel so fortunate to have been able to stay at the wonderful Hydras Chromata. The place was perfect. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. If I ever get back to this beautiful part of the world I hope to be able to return to this lovely accommodation.

Incredibly beautiful

Our stay here was amazing. The room was clean and well stocked with supplies, the balcony and view was absolutely breathtaking, and the host, Yiannis, greeted us at the dock and brought us to our room and was available at all times. We wished we had stayed in Hydra longer so we could enjoy this beautiful apartment for another few days!

This is a lovely property on Hydra. It is convenient to all shops, restaurants and the port. We stayed in a full apartment which came with everything you need. Enough bread and food for breakfast and lunch every day. Owners are charming.

The place is beautiful, very central, modern and as it looks on photos! Bed was very comfortable and room spacious. Host was wonderful, polite and friendly, met us at port, and while breakfast was not included, we found everything we needed in the room free of charge as a treat! Lovely place indeed and best we have stayed in Hydra so far after 3 visits. We shall return surely!

Our stay was wonderful. Jonas (spelling?) met us at the port and walked us to our apartment. He was kind and friendly. The apartment was spacious and immaculate. Our stay was perfect! I highly recommend Hydra Chromata.

We were very pleased with the studio. It was spotless, well lit, nicely decorated and in a calm part of the town yet 2-3 minutes from the port, restaurants and shops. Yiannis kindly met us at the port, helped us with our luggage and was always available via WhatsApp to answer our questions, make reservations, etc. Highly recommended place with a beautiful terrace to have breakfast or a glass of wine in the afternoon :-)

Zentrale Unterkunft mit schöner Terrasse

Schöne, zentrale Lage. Tolle Terrasse mit bequemen Sesseln und Schirm. Brötchenservice am Morgen. Sehr netter Host, problemlose Kommunikation und Hilfe bei Restaurants etc. Gesamt-Zustand des Zimmers leider mittelmässig und nicht sehr sauber. Preislich den sowieso hohen Preisen auf Hydra angepasst, woanders gibt es mehr fürs Geld.

We stayed for 3 days on the beautiful island of Hydra, our second visit. Our stay at Hydrate Chromata was excellent. We were greeted at the ferry and escorted to the property. The location is excellent, just a minute or two from the main harbour. Our room was modern, very clean with a lovely little balcony with a nice view. We were pleasantly surprised by the fridge being stocked with several staples and an espresso machine with pods and cream. Fresh bread was left at our door each morning which we loved and there was butter, jam etc in the room.This is a very well maintained property with great customer service and a perfect location. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you staff of Chromata!
