We had such a fantastic stay. We booked very last minute but we were not disappointed at all. We were greeted on arrival and could not wish for a better experience. We were given so much information about the local area, given a map and told what sites to see and had a fabulous recommendation for two restaurants. The rooms are beautifully clean and the breakfast was delicious. I would say the Personal touch was so much better than staying in a hotel and it wasn’t just a guest house. It was more like staying in a hotel. We will definitely come back.

The best points about The Coppice are that the staff are lovely and friendly, the breakfast is cooked perfectly and it has its own car park. It was about a 20 min walk into Bowness but we didn’t mind that too much as the weather was good. Loved our room which was in the annex and had its own private garden where we enjoyed relaxing with a cup of tea. Would recommend and would definitely return.

Beverley is very attentive and kind. Her breakfasts are delicious. The room was really nice and we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. This is our second time at the Coppice and we didn't regret booking again. The guest house is a great location. 5 mins walk from Windermere town and 15 mins walk (downhill) to Bowness. The bus service is very good too and stops virtually outside the guest house.

Good location (with parking). Friendly staff. Really comfy bed. Room clean where it most counts (bed and bathroom) but fireplace full of cobwebs and plug sockets very dusty. Didn’t really like being in a ground floor room. Breakfast good but very small portion of smoked salmon. Thought when booking there was a pool but it was about a 10 minute drive away so not convenient so overall expensive for what we got.

We had a lovely stay at the Coppice, Beverly is so lovely. Breakfast was spot on and the service was exceptional. The hotel is around a 15 min walk straight down the hill to the Bowness-On-Windermere with plenty of bars, restraunts and shops around. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.
