Good location (with parking). Friendly staff. Really comfy bed. Room clean where it most counts (bed and bathroom) but fireplace full of cobwebs and plug sockets very dusty. Didn’t really like being in a ground floor room. Breakfast good but very small portion of smoked salmon. Thought when booking there was a pool but it was about a 10 minute drive away so not convenient so overall expensive for what we got.

Beverley is very attentive and kind. Her breakfasts are delicious. The room was really nice and we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. This is our second time at the Coppice and we didn't regret booking again. The guest house is a great location. 5 mins walk from Windermere town and 15 mins walk (downhill) to Bowness. The bus service is very good too and stops virtually outside the guest house.
