Good for short stay

Hotel room was a good size and comfortable. It had everything you would need for a short stay. It did specify there was a playground as an amenity, but we asked and there wasn't, only a field across the road. Food was good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely birthday stay.

We had a lovely stay for my 40th Birthday at Two Brewers before our day at Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Although the furniture and decor was a tad dated it only added to the charm for us. We had a family room and the sofa bed was set-up and ready for when we arrived. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and a lovely meal in the pub. The room was set away from the pub and meant that we all had a comfortable and peaceful sleep. We had the continental breakfast which was more than enough to set us up for the day and only cost £6.99 per person including drinks. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

A comfortable hotel / pub and restaurant that is conveniently close to Watford and London. Room quality was very good and spacious. Both dinner and breakfast were great. The local area is very pleasent and quiet. Ample parking is available.

Average stay

Staff were not over welcoming. Room was far too warm at night unable to control heat. Lack of tea and coffee in room. Cleaner came in at 8:15 despite check out being 11am. WiFi poor. Springs felt in mattresses overall hotel needs refurbishment which was why the hotel was so reasonably priced.
