Exceptional stay.

Taroko Liikko Hotel ranks the highest in my list in terms of exceptional excellent customer service from all my years of travelling and staying in hundreds of hotels all over the world. This hotel treats you like you are their house guest and not a customer. Every staff gives her best and goes all out to serve and help you personally. I have great respect for the bosses and indeed felt very honoured to have stayed here and experienced their hospitality.

Should be 4 stars. The staff are the best we ever experienced. Always caring and helpful. Providing transportation to and from the train station. We will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was one of the best meals we ever had.

Staff are super professional and very nice. The garden next to the restaurant is very cozy. Dining area & resting zone are quite comfortable as well. All rooms face east so it's guaranteed to see the sun rise if the weather permitted.

Comfortable and beautiful hotel away from city.

Tarako Liiko Hotel was a comfortable stay for us as a couple. Pros: Room was big with a picturesque view of the mountains. Aircon can be controlled by an individual remote, making it efficient and comfortable. Bathroom was large, with heater+ventilator. Reception desk was always well manned, with helpful employees. Their breakfast spread while limited in selection, was sufficient and tasty. Quick 5-10 min drive to the beautiful Taroko Gorge. Cons: I can see how the parking lots can be filled up quickly by guests during the peak season. It is about a 20-25 min drive to Hua Lien City center, not the most convenient for travellers who prefer to be closer to restaurants and shopping.

So relaxing hotel

We stayed to visit power plant near there. We arrived in evening but the staff was very kind and booked their restaurant for us. The room and view was nice and we liked friendly staff service. The cats were so cute! In the morning I could enjoy the walking around the coast and small temples, not so much shops but so attractive place.

Wonderful hotel and employees

We were in this hotel when the big earthquake hit (epicenter about 10 miles south) and it was very scary. The hotel staff were so nice and calming and reassuring. they got right to work cleaning up all the broken stuff and checking all rooms and reassuring people. Then when it was discovered there was damage to the water tank and there would be no water in the guestrooms they found us another place to stay so we were perfectly comfortable and cared for. Vrey lovely, professional staff and very accomdating in a very scary time.
