Stay away

We called ahead because we were here for a wedding. I was told that we could check in roughly half hour early. Once we arrive, we were agreed with and not so personable front desk individual that said no your room will not be ready until three and there’s nothing we can do about it once we got to the room we noticed that the vet was barely hanging on the wall. There was scuffs everywhere on the walls. Items were missing. The toilet seat was not very clean like the room would not been cleaned thoroughly. We have stayed here multiple times in the past that’s why we booked this time but we will never come back to this hotel ever again.

We checked in early at 2pm. Staff was nice and allowed us into our room. I had requested north side but they gave me southside and were unable to swap me room. They said they were "sold out". Our room was clean for the most part. Bed linens looked fresh however wife found something on the cover and front desk was more than happy to replace cover. Bathroom was fairly clean except walls and floors look like they need attention. Faucet handles were loose but war pressure was great. Our tv was damaged and had red lines going thru the picture and our mini fridge leaked water over night. We had to unplug it. Be advised, the walls are paper thin! I could hear the entire conversation to the room next door, word for word. Also, the chair in the room was disgusting, filthy but everything else was ok. Breakfast was nice, with several options. Location was safe and well lit. Overall not the best but good enough for 1 or 2 nights.

Poor accommodations for price

We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for front desk person to show up for check-in. In the room, there are no curtains that close over the shears so light in room at all times. Pain in bathroom chipping off in huge stripes, broken closet door and the gap in the door was huge, terribly noisy. I thought the name Raddison meant something as I have never stayed in one of these hotels and will not be staying again. This hotel is equivalent of the local Motel 6.

Customer service was not acceptable in my experience. Front desk hostess was ill coughing. She did not greet me. She told me I had to pay $50 incidental, and that it would be on hold for 3 to 10 days. I asked her why this was to be held for so long? In my previous experience, this was never the case. She said she just worked there. I asked to talk to her manager and when I talked to the manager, the manager was just as unfriendly. The manager told me I was the only person that ever complained about this. The Manager (Angel) told the front desk clerk to cancel our room and told us to get a room elsewhere. When we said we did not want to do that, it’s fine, we’ll pay the $50 on for incidentals, Angel the manager, who was on the phone, kept saying to cancel it. Finally we got a room. When we got to the room, the door was wide open number 417 and the room had not been cleaned. The bed was not made. We made our way back to the front desk and asked for a different room that was clean. We travel many many places, and this has been the first time I’ve ever been treated with this disregard of empathy. What happened to the guest being taken care of and being treated kindly?

Check in was a breeze. Room was ok. The headboard had a few large scuff marks, restroom door paint was coming off the bottom, and the restroom wall had a few dark spots which looked like mold. Breakfast was average, nothing special. One of the workers was getting coffee and splashed my wife with coffee and never acknowledged it. Probably won’t stay there again.
