My room was very clean and well-equipped, and also bright and airy. Loved the scenic wallpaper! The shared shower/toilet was very clean (of course this can be a bit of at the mercy of the guests who have used them in the meantime, but I had no trouble!). The shower was good/strong (think you'll need to bring your own shower gel/soap, etc. but handwash is provided) with mat provided. Staff were very welcoming at the desk and explained how things worked. Hostel operates a locked front door policy (ring the bell to enter / use your key), which made it feel secure. Didn't use the communal areas but they looked comfortable and welcoming. Hostel had a calm, chilled-out vibe. Great location too, with the city on the doorstep and transport nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, lovely staff, and a cute little room with a comfy bed. The only thing I will say is it might be good to take earplugs; the rooms get hot, and being in a central place, even tucked away, there was a lot of noise from people outside, including banging on the doors. Earplugs definitely needed, but that's nothing to do with the venue, hence not changing my rating.

Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival,id booked a deluxe double room with own bathroom,lovely and very clean,bed comfortable,loved the funky way it had been decorated, no kettles in bedroom but in the corridor fresh hot water in a urn with tea coffee and milk you just take cups out with you from your room, we stayed in the annex but if you stay in main building you have a kitchen but you can use the kitchen aswell when staying in the annex but we only wanted a brew,central for town aswell there is no parking but npc carpark near..will definitely stay again.

Excellent location. The private double room was exactly as pictured which was great. The only drawback was that the wifi in the secondary building where I was staying wasn’t working at the moment but in all fairness the router probably just needed resetting and I didn’t ask for that (just used the wifi in the main building which was great). Amazing place to stay, we had a double room with our own bathroom. Everything was clean, spacious, and comfortable while being convenient and sustainable. The location was right in the city centre but still nice and quiet and the reception staff was the loveliest, giving us local recommendations and letting us leave our luggage during the day. Would definitely recommend!

Helpful and friendly welcome from the staff. It is a great budget-friendly place to get your head down for the night. It is very central but was tucked away enough to feel safe. Be aware that it can be quite cold. There was some litter left on the floor in my room when I arrived. Bathroom was lovely and clean, however. Nice of Igloo to include a towel but would recommend bringing your own. Was very quiet and overall got a comfortable night’s sleep in. There are communal areas to make a free hot drink, but I didn’t have time to enjoy these. Thank you for having me; I would come again.
