I came with the intention of simply using the Old Inn as a place to sleep as we had to attend an event nearby, but everything was so good we intend to return just to spend time at the old Inn and the village.

Website states rooms situated on pub forecourt, it is in fact the pub garden. Which means, if you have the windows or doors open, you have cigarette smoke blowing in. Tables and benches are placed right outside of our property therefore no privacy at all. This feels more like staff living quarters than a holiday let.

A very welcoming greeting upon arrival. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was very good and certainly set you up for the day. I didn’t eat in the pub for an evening meal, but it was a very quaint country pub, full of atmosphere. The menu choices looked very good, and if the breakfast was anything to go by I’m sure the meals would be very good too. Highly recommend the old inn.

Everything was amazing about our stay. Our room was so spacious, clean and confortable. The area was calm, and Jean is so nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend this hotel for families.
