Perfect Location/Excellent Service

Excellent choice. Worth every penny. Staff was amazing: professional, helpful, and always with a smile. Breakfast buffet was delicious with many choices. Room was clean. Bed just as comfortable as home. Rooftop bar and pool were both lovely. Easy walk to marina and Parque de los Novios. Wii definitely choose to stay here again.

Excelente hotel. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy cómodas, limpias, bien iluminadas y con una gran vista. La alberca y el bar del piso 16 son lugares increíbles para estar relajado, el gimnasio es pequeño pero funcional. El único pero que podría tener es que de noche la zona está muy sola pero fue del hotel está siempre vigilado y en taxi en 5 minutos llegas al parque de los novios. El personal muy amable y te apoyan con todo lo que necesites, el desayuno muy rico y variado. Solo que si deseas comer a la carta es tardado el servicio esperamos 1 hora para tener nuestros alimentos, tómalo en cuenta si tienes un vuelo para planearlo bien.

Excellent from check in to check out. The room was very neat and clean. Bed comfort was outstanding. Bathroom very clean with soap/shampoo. Continental breakfast is abundant and the dining area is well maintained. Housekeeping, pleasantly helpful!! The rooftop pool/bar was nice to start or end the day. It’s very well maintained throughout the day. Across the street from centro histórico Marsol bus stop which is an easy 5 min walk to Parque de los Novios. Bus to Rodadero at the corner. Overall, this Best Western Plus was so much above the level of service of other hotels at the same price point.

No lo recomiendo en lo absoluto

Una pésima experiencia, me hospedo en dos habitaciones con 2 niños y una adulta mayor y en el piso donde me asignan las habitaciones se encontraban pintando por lo que todo el piso se sentía el olor a pintura. Para colmo de males el aire acondicionado nunca funcionó. No me volvería a hospedar. Lo realmente terrible es como el administrador maneja de mal sus quejas, con una llamada se pudo haber corregido mucho, pero no les importo.

A good hotel in a good area

It's a very good hotel in a quiet area of the historical center of Santa Marta. Near the beaches and restaurants. We stayed at the 12th floor and it's an impressive view over the city. Also the roof top is nice with a pool, bar and a beautiful view over the city without windows. The rooms are very good, clean, spacious and with generous closets. Lots of space for the clothes and other things. The beds are perfect, we slept very well. A good bathroom. The AC worked well. The fridge worked well too, however it was a bit noisy at night. The breakfast was mediocre. They had lots of different options every morning. But the quality of the food was very varying. The coffee was so bland that I felt like they had used the same coffee filter a second time. The scrambled eggs seemed to be made from powder and milk, not real eggs. The different options of bread were really boring and dry. But the arepas, the fruits and a meat stew they served once was very delicious. In general the breakfast area felt a bit small for that big hotel. We didn't have that much problem since we were only one couple and always arrived early but we saw big families that arrived a bit later had some problems finding seats. The staff were very helpful and service minded most of the time. But I despise hotels that are so strict about their check-in time. We arrived at 2:30 pm, but we didn't get the key until 3:20 because all the guests were waiting to check in at 3pm at the same time. Ridiculous.

Nous avons adoré notre passage à Santa Marta entre mer et montagne cela donne le choix pour les activités ! L’hôtel est très bien placé, à 5 minutes à pied des points d’intérêt, du port… Personnel agréable et propreté de l’établissement. Les prix pratiqués au restaurant sont raisonnables
