⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I stayed at Roundthorn Country House and Luxury Apartments on 27th July, and we had a wonderful stay. We were delighted to be upgraded to one of the apartments, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both had a fantastic night's sleep. After a long drive, we really appreciated being able to check into our room early. It was a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference and got our stay off to a perfect start. We also enjoyed a delicious evening meal, and breakfast the following morning was freshly cooked and excellent. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Roundthorn Country House and Luxury Apartments to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

Excellent stay at the lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean. Room very comfortable and warm. Good amenities. The staff were outstanding very polite courteous welcoming and friendly. Stayed for evening meal and it was excellent one of the best meals I have had at a restaurant. Breakfast excellent freshly cooked to order. Beautiful scenery in a peaceful setting If you are visiting Penrith area this is the place to stay

The apartment was lovely and clean. The hotel was closed whilst we were there but lots of local amenities. The apartment was well placed for the local walks.

This is a lovely hotel, well located for stunning views of the landscape. Our room was well decorated, and had a lovely bathroom with a walk in shower. The walls were pretty thin, we could hear people in the neighbouring rooms around us. The bed was really comfortable, excellent Wi-fi and a smart TV on the wall was perfect. We had an evening meal which was served in a cozy room with an open fire, I can still taste the lovely Borders Beef. Breakfast was similarly great, and meant that overall we had a great stay.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, with stunning views. All of the staff were so friendly and the food was excellent from breakfast through to the evening meal. Our room.was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

We stayed here for just one night on our way to Scotland, a lovely evening meal, a very comfortable nights sleep and a lovely breakfast cooked to order, definitely recommend this beautiful hotel in gorgeous surroundings.
