I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding my recent stay at Casual Vintage Valencia Hotel, booked through your platform.
Shortly after checking into my room, I was shocked to find a large cockroach crawling on the floor (see attached photo, taken after I had to kill it myself). I immediately informed the hotel staff. However, I was told that there were no alternative rooms available, and all they could offer was a complimentary breakfast, which I declined as I felt uncomfortable eating at the same facility after such an incident.
This situation caused me significant distress. I could not sleep properly, fearing there might be more insects in the room. The presence of a cockroach strongly suggests a hygiene and pest control issue, which is completely unacceptable for any accommodation listed on your site.
I am requesting:
• A formal investigation into the hygiene practices at this property.
• A partial or full refund for this unacceptable experience.
• That this incident be noted for future guests’ awareness.
