Pass until the property is upgraded

The good news is that the hotel is in an awesome location. Exit the front door and you are in a pedestrian only street with good food close at hand. The farmers’ market is a short walk. A must on Saturdays. The bad news. The pool can only be entered or exited on a ladder with round rungs. In your bare feet, it is extremely painful. The pool’s tiles are literally falling apart. There is a six inch pile of tiles on the pool’s left. Our room had no nightstands. We had to “borrow” a couple of chairs to act as nightstands. The staff is friendly. Overall, the owners have not paid to maintain the property. Too bad. It could be a great hotel.

The hotel is in downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient for me as I didn’t rent a car. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The tour company I used, Maya Walk tours, was literally a one minute walk away. Nice clean hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. Small pool to take a dip in on the hot days. No elevator so if you have mobility issues you might keep that in mind. Perfect for my stay.

Excellent beds, best i've ever slept in. If they see this, I wish I knew what brand of bed it is. The restaurant made our anniversary special with flowers and balloons. Great stay!

Maya Bella was perfect for us. We loved being able to walk everywhere, the rooftop pool just steps from our room and the pretty area to relax. Staff was very courteous. Coffee and bananas were provided every morning. We would stay again!

I would recommend this!! There was parking! (you will need a ground guide since it is very tight). The property is well maintained and clean and the AC is strong. The pool was pretty to look at but the best thing about this hotel was free clean water from the water dispenser. Breakfast is just bananas and possibly coffee but there is a coffee shop next door as well as plenty of food options. Wifi was great too! we also had a load of laundry done for roughly $10 USD

1st time in Belize.

This was my first time in Belize and this property was great! It’s in a perfect location to book tours and experience great food in walking distance. It’s also about a 5min walk away from the bus stop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in & check out took less than 3 mins. I would highly recommend this place.

The ladies at the front desk allowed us to leave our luggage in the hotel for a few hours while they prepared our room. (We were super early) They also allowed us to leave our bags for about 4 hours after check-out. This allowed us to thoroughly enjoy San Ignacio. We are very grateful for this.

Perfect location

Can't get more in the thick of downtown than this. Great rooms, hot water, and a lovely staff. Even though parking extremely large vehicles in their lot is a risk, they spotted for me and helped me out of a tight spot. Literally and figuratively! Would definitely come back.

Great location, very helpful staff, basic room but everything you need. Endless coffee/tea/bananas available in reception. Staff went above and beyond helping with itinerary changes due to tropical storm. Lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets close by. Highly recommend this hotel.
