The White Caps Hotel offers great value, great location close to downtown Ventura, tastefully remodeled, clean rooms with very comfortable beds and nice linens. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice neighborhood and close to the beach about a 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach. First impression was a very clean room but the room had a musky smell…. Bed sheets and pillows did not look or smell clean.

Room was small but quaint. Had all the things you need for a quick stay. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Each room was decorated really cute - chic and playful and the beds very comfortable. I like that your parking spot is right in front of your door. Only feedback would be higher water pressure in the shower, water bottles and/or a water machine at the check in desk, and consideration to getting a smart tv add on. Roku or Amazon Fire sticks can plug into the tv and give stayers a bit more variety of things to watch.

Room was clean, check in was easy. We were in end unit by street, so it there was some vehicle noise. This probably isnt the case on inner units. The neighborhood is secure and safe. Room was updated to and everything was in pretty good shape. It was little dark in there though, lights are dim.

The pictures of the room were accurate. It was a clean room & had a small fridge. I was surprised to find it has shampoo, conditioner, handwash & lotion provided of a known natural brand & a hair dryer. It's basic but clean and local to the beach and other areas.
