The property could do with a bit of a refresh in a few places, but we're in a tropical climate so kind of understandable. This is a nice small quiet resort, the location is odd and the enterance is very easy to miss. it is set back far enough from the main road, so they rooms are very quite and secluded. The staff are all extremley helpful. Rooms are well kept and very clean. Signiture SPa treatment was fairly good.

We absolutely loved our stay at Samata. The villas are exceptional with the largest bathrooms we have ever seen in our travels. The food is restaurant quality and beautifully presented. Samata is tucked away down a quiet Jalan with an immediate outlook over tranquil rice fields to the ocean beyond. All the staff were exceptional with their service and genuine kindness. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, it has been luxurious treatment. I've been notified before our arrival of the arrangement and despite booking it wrong on the website to have 2 single beds instead of a king bed, they managed to accommodate it to our preferences last minute. The whole staff has been so friendly and very attentive to our needs throughout the trip, from messaging us the night prior to get our breakfast order to noticing our discomfort following a rough trip to Nusa Penida, they've even went above and beyond into providing us teas to calm our nerves which weren't on the menu or expected. All in all, I would definitely recommend staying at the Samata, it made our Bali stay unforgettable.
