Gran hotel… pero..

Padrísima recepción por parte del personal, inclusive nos dieron la habitación hora y media antes de la hora estipulada, nos explicaron todos los detalles de la reserva y de la habitación y nos explicaron sobre paseos, restaurantes y prácticas de otros clientes para pasarla bien en el hotel. El problema fue que la pantalla de la estancia principal no servía y la cocina estaba llena de hormigas, compramos pizzas y cus do quisimos comerlas ya había hormigas por todos lados.

A genuine peaceful escpae

We stayed in a superior suite as a family of 3. It's a spacious 2 bed/2bath condo (with full kitchen) that's been turned into hotel rooms (it felt larger than our condo in BC!). The condo buildings feel a bit older but have been renovated both in and outside and are in good condition. Beautiful, lush vegetation throughout the property that was calming and full of birds. It was indeed super peaceful - we came after 3 days at an all inclusive near downtown that was loud and busy, so this was definitely appreciated. Loved the pool, perfect temperature and size. Never very busy. We enjoyed a few meals at the cafe on site, which is convenient as the Marina is about 15-20 minute walk away for closest shops and restaurants. Do check out the Marina, especially for the Thursday night market. The staff were very kind and helpful. They refilled our water pitchers daily and on request. The only complaint was there were tiny ants all over the kitchen and we did get bit by mosquitoes and no-see-ums early morning and early evening. Our other resort fumigated for mosquitoes regularly so never saw one there. Despite that, we would definitely return next time we're in PV!

Beautiful peaceful spot close to the airport with a great staff. It seems to be a converted apartment complex. We had a huge two bedroom apartment at a great price. I would go back!

We loved our stay here! The property and communal spaces are gorgeous! The restaurant was really good, and nice and health forward. A wonderful huge warm pool, and a hot tub, with lots of chairs and places to hang out! The room was massive, and well equipped. The cabinets were a little dated but still clean and super functional and made for excellent value!

Will never consider a different hotel in PV...

I booked this trip to be here with cousins who come every year for a couple of months, and I was looking forward to visiting with family and seeing PV, but I was not prepared to fall so in love with this hotel! Super friendly staff, beautiful location and pool, and huge rooms that had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Short walk to stores, money exchange, food, etc. Located in a very nice neighborhood. AND, they have the most amazing little restaurant by the pool that is so wonderful, you will be tempted to never venture out. I highly recommend the margaritas, smoothies, breakfast buffet, shrimp quesadillas, and guacamole. Considering how amazing this place is, it is shocking that they don't charge more. Before leaving, I booked two more trips in the coming year.

This boutique hotel is a little gem tucked into a residential area of Marina Vallarta near the golf course. It is a former condo complex turned into a boutique hotel. It has an on-site outdoor cafe that serves delicious smoothies, breakfast, lunch and drinks. They close around 4pm and they are not open for dinner. We had an issue with our room upon checking in that was quickly fixed and the staff is very kind and thoughtful. We stayed over Christmas and Jocelyn, our housekeeper, kindly left a lovely bought of flowers and chocolates for us. The pool area is awesome with sunny and shady areas for everyone to enjoy. The entire area and complex is very quiet and peaceful. Marina Vallarta is a 20 minute walk and we always go to Victors on the night we arrive. Chappys is a very casual place to watch sports and their pizza is delicious. The grocery store, Soriano is a 20 minute walk and has everything you need but the produce is low if you shop at night. There is a rotisserie chicken place on the outside of Soriano El Pechugon that is AMAZING! We get the whole chicken meal and always buy a second side of potatoes to cut and fry for breakfast. The San Tropico is the perfect place for peace and quiet and is very relaxing we were worried about booking a place we had never heard of and we are so glad we did! We will definitely come back!

highly recommended

I spent five days here and it was great. The folks who work there are friendly and informative and go out of their way to assist in any way necessary. I was in a two bedroom "apartment" which would be perfect for a family or small group. The pool is excellent and so is the 'jacuzzi.' Special shout out to the small attached restaurant poolside as their food was delicious and reasonably priced. If I ever have to return to PV I would definitely stay here. By the way, I uber'd everywhere (cheap) and used Apple pay almost everywhere- which eliminated the need to have pesos on hand. I brought the equivalent of $50USD in pesos and used perhaps half of that.

I was very dissapointed regarding the restaurant. We asked the bar manager what hours they are open and was Tod the food side was open to 5 and bar to 6pm Perfect We had a couple of drinks and at 4.40pm went to order and was told, sorry, you are too late.
