We stopped at this hotel to access the airport in the morning. The property was clean and the rooms had a modern feel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We’d booked a evening table in the restaurant but we’re not given any menus or ideas on pricing until after. It was buffet style and was one of the most expensive meals in relation to other places we have stopped. Not worth it but we didn’t have to drive out in the evening. If your happy driving out at night I would eat elsewhere or check price beforehand.

Serene county gem!

Lovely little country retreat with exceptional staff and service. Away from the main road where it is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful courtyard. My only regret is that our stay was only one night. Would definitely love to return for a longer stay sometime. While they also provide dinner on-site, we already had dinner plans, but the cooked to order breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Highly recommended!

The room was not what I had booked, towels were dirty , no bath , fitted sheet was too small for bed , room smelt , chair in room was full of dust and had cigarette burns on it musty and decor was neglected . I did not stay and demanded a refund on arrival . Not recommended at all .

Good but some issues

Comfortable place to stay in a lovely setting but lots of small minor issues - no soap or hand towels in the room on arrival, half drunk beer in the fridge, safe was locked and the basin leaked. All was rectified very quickly but .... Staff were very attentive and friendly

Great service

Country Boutique Hotel had excellent service overall but only one problem could arise with the uneven steps going into the hotel in front if someone was not watching carefully, they may fall easily. Otherwise quality of service from staff and restaurant was superb.

Amazing place to stay. The service is over the top and the assistant manager couldn’t do enough for us. Great food over the top breakfast and fantastic dinner !!!! 100 % would recommend this place. A little hard finding but worth it. THE BEST !!!!

Wir hatten HP gebucht - eine exzellente Wahl! Das Essen war göttlich - sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen! Die Zimmer im Anbau sind sehr geräumig, und wir haben besonders den Außenbereich genossen, wo wir nach dem Essen noch gesessen haben. Einziger "Nachteil" für die Damen: wo es Steckdosen gibt, ist kein Spiegel - und umgekehrt. Leider ein Manko in vielen Hotels. Aber ansonsten war alles top!

The hotel is pleasant and the room spacious. Bed was comfortable and hotel staff were efficient. However we were given the room above the reception and entrance, and right at the top of the stairs leading to all the other rooms. There was no soundproofing and we could hear everyone who walked past until late into the night. We were not able to change rooms due to the hotel being fully booked. I think that the rooms in the other wings may be much quieter, so be sure to request one of those. The breakfast was very good.

Good and cosy getaway

My husband and I had a really good and relaxing stay at Country Boutique Hotel. We were well received and service provided with up to standard. As we were celebrating our anniversary the hotel out together an amazing romantic dinner set up in our room. This was a really great and special touch. Although we had a great time there are some ears of improvement that I'd like to highlight. Firstly the lighting in the room was extremely bright there for when needing to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night one would switch on 1 light and this would light up the entire room - they could look at having a light for the bathroom only. The staff were particularly noisy in the mornings as they arrived for work. One would expect that they would keep their voices low as guests are still asleep. This establishment is rated as a 4 star and has described itself as a boutique hotel, one wold expect the the quality of toilet paper would be of a higher/ luxurious quality.

An amazing stay

My son and I stayed here from 12-14 January and could see why the hotel was rated as high as it was on all the review websites that I looked at. It’s location was perfect for us as my daughter was at a swimming camp hosted at Ingwenyama conference resort. The hotel is beautiful, spotless but what really impressed us was the service. We were attended to by Brenda and Eric who took great care to attend to any faults we found. I unfortunately didn’t get the names of the two managers who also were extremely pleasant and went out of their way too to attend to any issues we had. So much so that I wouldn’t bother to write these down because literally the moment we had any niggle it was attended to practically immediately. Now...the food...suffice to say I gained at least a kg in just one weekend. All compliments to the chef. We had breakfast on day 1, and I was a little disappointed when I saw the menu as I’d read rave reviews on the breakfast. Well, the reviews were well deserved. They do put out quite a spread. From muesli, to pastries, to cold meats, crackers and cheeses to fruits and only then does your hot breakfast arrive. Dinner was amazing. We had springbok carpaccio that was totally delicious. Pork roast and sirloin, also to die for. I was not too crazy about the brownie I had (rather dry), but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. I could write on...but I need to get to the treadmill to work off this 1kg...:-)
