Beyond Expectations – A Perfect Stay at Grand Vela

My recent stay at Grand Velas was a bit of a splurge—but absolutely worth it. From start to finish, the experience exceeded expectations in every way. A huge thank you to Claudia, our personal concierge, who went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary trip was both memorable and joyful. Her attentiveness and warmth truly made a difference. The service overall was exceptional. Every staff member—from the bellman to housekeeping to the pool attendants—was professional, friendly, and eager to help. It’s clear that service is a top priority here. The resort itself is stunning. The adults-only infinity pool was a serene oasis, and the gym facilities were top-notch. And the food—just wow. Every meal was outstanding, but a special shoutout goes to Cocina de Autor. As a Michelin-starred restaurant, my expectations were high, but the chef delivered a world-class experience that rivaled (and in some cases surpassed) other star-rated restaurants I’ve visited. Thank you to everyone at Grand Velas for an unforgettable stay. We’ll definitely be back!

El hotel cuenta con mucho diseño y excelente servicio en general, los alimentos en los centros de consumo son excelentes, el buffet de desayuno y comida rico, no espectacular. Grand Velas was absolutely fabulous! We brought our 3 kids and we were spoiled from day one. Our personal concierge Blair was phenomenal. Friendly, professional and attentive to anything we needed. Typically we avoid all inclusive resorts because we enjoy higher quality dining and drinks - we decided to try Grand Velas based on other great reviews and we are so glad we did! We also have to give a shout out to Isabella who served us by the pool, she was fantastic!

Best Family Vacation with Children

This was our second time here and it was another perfect family vacation. You seriously can’t get a better all inclusive resort than this. Extraordinary service. Catered to our every need, including dietary restrictions. Lovely pool area. Grand class corner suite had stunning view and private plunge pool. On-site restaurants were generally very good, and Cocina de Autor was outstanding.
