A HUGE let down

Deshawn the bartender and Marvin from the Sports Bar were the best parts of this resort other than that, stay somewhere else. For an all inclusive resort, this was SEVERELY disappointing. I’ve stayed at multiple and have never had such a bad experience. The food options are limited yes but the hours of operation for what is open makes no sense. From 3-4 pm all you have to eat is a food truck and they run out of food EVERY DAY. The service was terrible, every single employee had an attitude. They seem like they come to work to play around and talk. And some of the workers are inappropriate and try to make passes at you EVERY DAY. Also the STEAKHOUSE ran out of STEAK. And you can barely even get a reservation to anything outside of the buffet. Then once the buffet closes all you have is the sports bars and the sports bar only serve hamburgers onion rings and hotdogs until after 11 pm ….. because that makes sense right? The bars/pool area bars closed EARLY EVERYDAY. The bartenders lie about being closed or closed early to be lazy. Also why doesn’t anybody on the resort know what they’re talking about??? You ask someone one thing and get a completely different answer from someone else… EVERYBODY we talked to felt the same way as us so we felt very validated knowing this was a collective disappointment. Please do better Royalton St Lucia.

Beautiful resort but service can be inconsistent

This was our first all-inclusive resort so that was a fun new experience. The resort is beautiful and clean. The food is okay. The Italian restaurant was delicious. We very much appreciated the buffet always being an option. The service is inconsistent since some workers were very friendly and helpful and others were very unfriendly (food truck). The pools and drinks are awesome! Beach is great. Our room was very clean and cleaning people were very friendly. Room service is spotty since it could be a really long wait and quality was so-so. Special shout-out to the kids' club employees. This option was so nice to have to take our 1-year-old granddaughter to play in the AC for a couple of hours each day. Check in process can be lengthy depending on the time of day! Beware that the drive to and from the airport is harrowing so it is not for the faint-hearted.

Hotel is clean. Housekeeping needs to do better, & not leave drink glasses and food plates in the room. My room wasn’t clean for one day I’ve no clue why that happened. The food is okay, drinks are basic. Security stressed me out for a pick up by a local taxi company, had me going back & forth, after the driver was refused entry to pick me up at the lobby. I understand there are policies in place however, if a front desk rep is attempting to assist by calling security to have the driver come to the lobby, for her to be told by security supervisor “don’t let that happen again” is very rude knowing there was no golf cart to take me up to the main entrance. A bellboy tried to help by having me board a bus only to find my driver left because they wouldn’t allow him on the premises. I had to call the cab company to have the driver return to the hotel. It was a very frustrating experience for me.

The property is beautiful and well kept. The room was very clean and comfy... the only issue I had was that the television wouldn't play any channels.... I called several times for them to fix the issue... and it was not fixed until late morning... had to wait for IT to come in.

Most horrific vacation resort ever

Upon check in and entering our room there was this terrible smell and mold in the room. I reported this condition 4 times to the front desks clerks, nothing was done about it, We checked out on the 4th day and still nothing was done about. The front desk clerks told us they were going to send someone to check out the room and get back to us. Nothing, no communication at all, this was a substandard smelly moldy room on a fake nice appearance of a property and they knew it. Our vacation was ruined due negligence from the staff at this property, Also the staff lied to us for 4 days. Worse vacation everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Not worth the money

This is a beautiful property, the grounds are well-maintained, great walk-out beach access and they take care of the big things very well. Unfortunately, this is where the good part ends. Attention to detail is lacking in many areas and for an all-inclusive resort to run out of lime juice and strawberries to make mixed drinks, was unacceptable. Grazie Italian restaurant’s food was bland and the server never even brought my sister in laws food out, even after saying she’d check. The service was hit or miss, the welcome at the check-in desk was fabulous. Some of the workers want to do a good job, but we were told the GM cut alcohol allotments for the bars, and for an all-inclusive resort, that’s inexcusable. There were people buying alcohol in the gift shop just to get over the shortage on the property. Our party got the feeling from most servers, that we were a nuisance rather than people who spent good money to spend time there. Unfortunately, this is experience has soured our take on the Royalton at St Lucia and we will not be back

Staff was rude as they seemed uninterested in serving the guests. Some were snarky and downright dismissive about our requests. Will not visit again.

The property is spacious and nice & the staff is extremely friendly and responsive. Although many restaurant options, the food is tasteless and extremely small portions.

We visited the Royalton for our Honeymoon. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was great (many options), the drinks were great (tons of different bars around the property) and the overall vibe was good. They had entertainment every night on property, which we enjoyed. We found that much of the staff (non-restaurant) was not friendly or neutral (not welcoming). Room service was all over the place, between wait time and not being able to bring what we ordered. We had trouble getting items in the room (toilet paper) when needed. The restaurants were great, and the staff in those were top notch. The staff in the restaurants made the experience in those places. The tour area was great, very easy to schedule excursions and no pressure to book. The excursions we did were amazing. We did the Jeep Safari, Chocolate and Rum Tour, Catamaran, Street Party and Helicopter. ALL were great.

The property is gorgeous. No sargassum anywhere! The beach was beautiful, the pools were beautiful, the rooms were nice. The app they make you download to make reservations for the restaurants sucks. It wouldn't work half the time, then you can only do a reservation 2 days in advance, so I would have to keep checking back, the app would crash.. I tried to get help from the dining desk and that was one of the few times a staff member was actually rude. We only got to eat at 2 of the 5 restaurants because of this. YOU NEED A BETTER SYSTEM. I'm not new to all-inclusive. I'm used to having to make reservations when you first arrive, but this system was terrible. Also- they ran out of stuff for drinks almost daily. One bar didn't have tequila, one didn't have any coconut, etc. So for that part- please do better. The all inclusive is expensive, and I expect it to be good. I appreciated the room service availability and the gelato being open late!
