I sent a message to HOTELS.com letting the hotel know that because my wife needs to check in and I had to go into hotel later that evening because my golf schedule....
Upon the check in, the front desk lady gave my wife hard time and argue that this is booked thru the 3rd party and they did not get the message and won't let my wife check in. After 30 minutes arguing and waiting, I had to call the front desk and told her that its a prepaid in full reservation and beg her to resolve the situation. After a long drive from out of State, my wife just wanted to go in and rest... At the end the front desk lady demand my wife to deposit another night of room fee and incidental fee. She just can't trust us which is okay with us. Main point here is this is a service industry and please treat us like a guest. We are not going to hotel to beg for service. We had a horrible experience. Amazing that one front desk person's conversation and behavir can affect both Homewood Suites and Hotel.com very negatively like this.
