Check in staff was rude-didn’t greet me only said “What do you need?” without looking at me. My son was told he couldn’t go to the pool without shoes on. My other son was told “no running” as he was going up the steps at the same pace as me and that he was too loud as he walked down the hall. I was behind him and he hadn’t made a sound. A staff member hid in the upstairs ice area and yelled at multiple people walking by for being loud. It was to the point that one of my children sat in the room and cried because they were scared to leave. The pool was shut down because kids were jumping-eliminating it for my child who hadn’t been in yet instead of just removing the offending children from the area. There were multiple arguments between staff and parents who were trying to protect their children, which also frightened my child. We stay every year on this weekend and the children were much quieter and calm than any other year. The staff on the other hand was upsetting many of them to the point that we will not be staying there again. We would rather drive from another city than deal with my children frightened and crying.
