Disappointed with Hotels.com

Booked 4 nights 60 sq meters room and the hotel offered only 40 sq meters room to us on the 1st night. After negotiation, the hotel changed to the room we booked room for the last three days which is spacious and comfortable. However, The email that I sent to Hotels.com did not get any .response or arrange refund for .almost a week. Very disappointed about Hotels.com

Great for families, great room & amazing location

We had a mix-up about booking airport transport, so it didn't get arranged as I thought, which wasn't good, given that we landed near midnight. Regardless, getting an Uber at the airport is easy enough and quite safe. This is an amazing hotel. We had a great room on the third floor, great location near the main tourist spot to easily see the river and cross the bridge into the old town. The room has a small kitchen. If you intend to cook often/big meals and have more than two people in there at a time, then it would feel tight, but for us, it was more than good enough. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but I am sure, like most places in Prague, the food quality and standard are generally very good and good value for money (in comparison to London, where we live). As we have kids, we were offered a PlayStation 5 to set up and keep them entertained.

Fantastisk skønt lille hotel med let adgang til alle Prags mest populære seværdigheder, 2 minutters gang fra den danske ambassade. Vi havde booket deres tag lejlighed som skulle være deres bedste værelse, hvilket vi synes det levede helt op til. Et badeværelse, 2 toiletter, minibryggers m. Vaskemaskine, dobbeltseng og sovesofa i god kvalitet som dobbeltseng. Fuldt funktionelt køkken med ALT hvad man har brug for: køleskab, fryseskab, komfur, ovn, opvaskemaskine mm. Hyggelig lille tagterrasse, aircondition x 2 - kort sagt skal vi til Prag igen vil vi helt klart gå efter samme skønne hotel og lejlighed (vær. 42) P.s lige under hotellet ligger den skønneste lille café med skønne retter til både morgen-, middag- og aftensmad.

Room with no privacy

This was our third year staying at The Old Royal Post Hotel, and we’ve always loved it. Unfortunately, our last visit in July wasn’t up to the standard we’ve come to expect. The AC in our room had issues, and there was very loud noise coming from across the wall during the early morning hours. We mentioned it to the gentleman at the front desk, but he seemed dismissive and uninterested in addressing our concerns. Additionally, our room was on the ground floor facing the restaurant patio, making it impossible to open the blinds for any natural light or privacy, as guests could see directly inside. Honestly, this room shouldn’t be offered for rental in its current setup. As much as we’ve enjoyed this hotel in the past, we may consider a different option next year.

Spectacular decor in the heart of Prague

This hotel was a work of art! We were stunned by the beautiful and fancy decor in our “Venus” room. This hotel was luxurious, yet very affordable. Beautiful amenities with a kitchen, 1 1:3 bathrooms, family & dining area, & kitchen. It was located in the perfect spot near the Charles Bridge to walk to old Town, the river, or the castle. It was near chopping and restaurants. In all my traveling around the world, I have never seated any that was decorated so cool and beautifully. We loved our stay and the city!
