Homewood has been my go-to place for years when I travel, always good and consistent. However, this time got me. After a long overseas flight I got here late night, sweaty and tired. There is a posting saying AC would need 10-20 minutes to turn on by a ‘eco-friendly’ motion sensor. But after an hour AC was still dead. I called front desk twice and the lady said she would get back with me in a few minutes. Never occurred. Every time you check in you get this very friendly personal text to thank you for your stay and asking you to reply if there is anything you need help. So I replied to ‘Daniel’ and asked for help but it went nowhere, I guess this text was a computer generated ‘personal’ message and no one to follow up. Anyway I went to sleep around 2am in a stuffy AC-off hotel room, disturbed and not happy. Otherwise, hotel is clean, spacious and comfortable. I hope this ‘eco friendly’ AC is just an isolated system breakdown not a trend from now on.
