Very nice hotel in Hamburg's best quarter. Had a nice room with beautiful city view. Room was smaller than the ones I know from Asia, but that might be, because the hotel is part of the Elbe Philharmonic Hall. Usual (high) Westin comfort. Westin heavenly bed, which is the best hotel bed I ever slept in! Even more expensive hotels like Ritz Carlton or Waldorf Astoria can´t compete with the Westin heavenly bed!

The Westin Hamburg Hotel is one of our most favorite hotels in Europe. The hotel is especially convenient for us going to Elbphiharmonie almost every evening. The view from our suite is spectacular! We shall definitely return to Hamburg just for the Westin and Elbphilharmonie!

First off, I am from Hamburg and I used to work across the street for a huge media company for years. I left when the Hafen City was being planned. Oliver the concierge is a true gem. The hotel is very clean and well located (not talking about the whole controversy about the Elbe-Philarmonie). Friendly and very professional staff all around. Cleaning crew could benefit from being less intrusive (they REALLY wanted to clean the room regardless of the Do Not Disturb sign), but this almost neat picking...

Nice hotel, although the room wasnt ready when we arrived (at 16:00!) Staff told us that they would call us when it was ready, but they never did so we had to go back to the checkin counter to check once again. No appologies or compensation was offered. Fantastic hotel, great location at the concert hall and wonderful views of Hamburg. Just a couple of ‘even better if’ items: - It’s too easy to select the Wi-Fi option you have to pay for, so much so nearly everyone does it. They don’t quibble but it’s an unnecessary conversation with reception. - Like a lot of other places I have stayed recently, they assume you have used the mini-bar, even if you haven’t. Maybe because they provide complementary water. - Basically, don’t do express check-out, go to reception and check your folio. - One evening we went to the hotel bar and wanted to order some cakes, but apparently the chef had packed them away. We ordered cheese and biscuits instead but the portion was tiny!

Im Café alle sehr freundlich aber die Touris laufen um die Terrasse rum und man fühlt sich wie ein Affe im Käfig… ist das Geld nicht wert….aber nix gehen das Personal alle sehr freundlich… ich Zweige an dem Konzept …. Luxus ist nicht das, dass ein Bier 6€ und das Törtchen 9€ kostet … unter Luxus verstehe ich was anders und das fängt nicht einem Fenster an was man aufmachen kann

Problem beim Einchecken

Beim Thema „Sauberes Zimmer“ hatten wir früher ein Problem, nachdem unser Zimmer 1 x gar nicht gemacht wurde und ein anderes Mal Badetücher nicht getauscht worden sind. Das lag damals offenbar an der Qualität der Mitarbeiter im Servicebereich. Aktuell war aber alles in Ordnung. Dieses Mal hatten wir echt ein Problem beim Einchecken, weil uns die MitarbeiterInnen in der Rezeption, ein Deluxe-Zimmer als Premium-Zimmer verkaufen wollten, nur weil das Zimmer im 19. Stockwerk war. Sowas steht nach meiner Meinung in keiner Beschreibung von „Hotels.com“ und das kann auch nicht zu einem üblichen Vorgehen eines 5-Sterne-Hotels gehören.

Flot og upersonligt hotel - alt for lang ekspeditionstid ved reception Dårlig indeklima da det ikke var muligt at åbne vinduer eller få frisk luft ind på nogen måde. Meget forvirrende med elevatorer i forskellige sektorer
