I wish every motel could be like this one. Run by people who truly care about it and it shows. My room was spotless. The bed had a great mattress, good pillows and very nice blankets. The towels were thick and large. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

The Allegheny Inn is a budget hotel that was perfect for our stay in Sparta for a local event. The intown location was walking distance to restaurants and a short 5 minute drive to our event. The staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely stay there again.

I’ve been in Sparta many times but never stayed overnight. The Inn is a little vintage but with some updates and clean! Great value especially if you’re doing Parkway activities. I would not think twice about booking there again. Sparta has some excellent comfort food venues and the Bluffs restaurant on the Parkway is worth it with food and ambience. We’ve been going to the Bluffs for 40 years (except when they were renovating and COVID). Please go treat yourself to both! We actually stayed at the Bluffs Lodge twice before it closed. Slow down and go enjoy Sparta and the Bluffs restaurant.
