We stayed at Varaba as we had a very early flight out from Athens. It is a lovely place with wonderful hosts that cooked us a delicious 3 course meal. Definitely recommend.

We arrived late after the restaurant and reception was closed. Nikolia was excellent, she made sure we had food delivered and a taxi ordered for early the next morning. The house is also lovely, it's a shame we were only stopping overnight. Definitely the place to stay for Athens airport.

A rural setting near the airport.

It has a nice country feel with a lovely little church nearby and only 10-15 minutes from the international airport. The breakfast was simple but fresh and delicious. The room was a bit smaller than expected but big enough and the accessories were good quality.

My husband and I stayed here one night after arriving late into ATH. The room was immaculate and comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful. We took a long walk around the area in the morning before enjoying the complimentary breakfast. The resident cats and dog were the cherry on top. This is the perfect place to spend a night before or after your flight!

Charming country house, well appointed and comfortable. Enjoy a meal or drink on the veranda and look out over olive trees and mountains. Nikolia was very friendly and there to show you around the property. Didn't feel like a hotel, rather a cool relaxed B and B. Would stay again.

Comfortable and the Owner was absolutely wonderful

Quaint home close to the airport. If you have a few hours during your time there, take a taxi to Porto Ralti ..it’s a very beautiful waterfront town and a great place for lunch. Claudine provided a delicious dinner for us and we enjoyed a nice conversation with another couple staying at the house. Clean room and bathroom!! Comfortable stay!!

Very quiet despite being right next to the airport. And yes, it's perfectly located for a layover from/to ATH as long as you keep in mind that you'll need a taxi for getting to and from the airport. Varaba is top-notch, when it comes to the communications and response time.

Beautiful little hotel a short ride from the airport. We were a party of 11 and had 6 rooms, all unique, all spacious by Euro standards. Pristine condition, exceptionally clean. We had dinner there upon arrival and it was not only an excellent value, but excellent food as well. Staff is friendly with perfect English. Beautiful 12th century chapel across the street. I never leave this positive a review, but this place is exceptional.

This is a unique and lovely property. It is not your typical hotel with the front desk and so on. But it still has wonderful amenities. Pick up and drop off at the airport, an absolutely fabulous home-cooked dinner and a very wonderful breakfast. Great ambience, nice people, sweet dog and cats. In reading the reviews before I booked it, I realized if there were negative comments, it's because people simply hadn't read the description of what kind of a place it is. I loved it!

Very nice overnight stay close to the airport

It was a quick overnight stay close to the airport. Property is very nice in the country side. Checkin was seamless, the staff very friendly (as well as the resident dog and cat) and very comfortable surroundings to sit. The dinner they served was very well prepared. And we were able to view a 12th century church just next to the hotel. The only negative we could say was the room that we had (which was the smallest) had a very tight bathroom and was difficult to ventlate when taking a shower. We would recommend choosing a larger room.

What a gem of a property and experience!! A lovely little hotel in the middle of an olive, pistachio and pomegranate farm The owners and staff were wonderful! A night at Varaba

Although our stay was very short, we were greeted upon arrival and shown around. We had a beverage on the patio and met some of the other guests. The setting was pastoral and comfortable. Because of an early flight, we missed having breakfast. Overall, it is a great place to stay.
