We stayed to see a show at another hotel. We felt that the hotel was a little run down, they had one elevator working out of 6 in I believe the bourbon wing. It was terrible we had to wait forever to up to room or to leave. Will most likely not stay there again.

We had adjoining rooms which was great - we had an ocean view (nice bonus) The rooms were pricey ($$$$) and for what we paid there was not a single clock to be found between the two rooms, there was no coffee maker in the rooms (very unusual) and there was no microwave either. That's odd since the Showboat is geared toward families. The rooms were a bit outdated.
