On a recent trip to Ireland ( there were three adult women traveling on holiday) we booked this property in error. Because it was a prepay, we were not granted a refund. This property is located on a stretch of Parnell street that should not be walked alone after dark. The apartment is in a grimy, run-down, low income building. The lifts DO NOT WORK often trapping people inside— and this comes from one of the building tenants which is great when you are tugging your luggage up three floors ( the 2nd floor is really on the 3rd floor). Bare light bulbs. Beds on the floor, dirty. On top of that they will insist that you pay 30 euro prior to arriving in addition to the cost of the stay. You will never see the owner, by the way. Have to go across the street to a lock box to get the keys. Also can’t leave the windows open at night because it is so bloody loud. The only good thing I can say, is that you will be just a couple of blocks off of O’Connell street which is vibrant — many places to each and shop. This was by far, the worst stay of our 14 day trip. Actually, it was my WORST STAY EVER anywhere in the world.

Large two bedroom flat off Parnell square in the Chinatown section of Dublin (which is about two blocks). The noise from the street is beyond loud. I actually left after one night and went to another hotel. For the money, this place is seriously overpriced. Not a bad location but the street noise alone just made it awful for me.
